Christine Fan (born March 18, 1976), better known by her stage name FanFan or her Chinese name Fan Wei-chi, is a Taiwanese singer-songwriter, TV presenter, record producer, actress, author and philanthropist. She sings mostly in Mandarin, but has also recorded in English. A popular singer, she has 3 million followers on Facebook and over 47 million fans on the Chinese portal Sina Weibo. She speaks Mandarin fluently and has some working knowledge of English. Early life Fan was born in Ohio on 18 March 1976. She is the elder of two children and has a younger brother. Biography Fan was born in Ohio. She studied at Pomona College but transferred in her second year to Harvard Extension School, a distance-education branch of Harvard University. 2013 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship
The 2013 Asia-Pacific Rally Championship season is an international rally championship sanctioned by the FIA. The championship is contested by a combination of regulations with Group N competing directly against Super 2000 cars for points. A new rally was added to the calendar, the first since Rally of Queensland in 2009, in the Thailand Rally. Indian driver Gaurav Gill won the Asian-Pacific championship after many years in the series. Gill won the championship despite his Finnish team mate Esapekka Lappi winning more events. Gill wrapped the title up early as the only rival outside of the Team MRF squad, Subaru driver Sanjay Takle, did not attend the final round at the China Rally. Australian driver Simon Knowles won the Pacific Cup held over the three Pacific ocean events. The Asia Cup was held over three of the four Asian events, with the China Rally being left out in favour of candidate rally, the Thailand Rally. Mose Se Sengo
Mose Se Sengo ("Fan Fan") (16 October 1945 – 3 May 2019) was a guitarist, composer and band-leader from the Democratic Republic of Congo. He was one of the pioneers of Congolese Soukous. Background Mose Se Sengo, was born in present-day Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo, on 16 October 1945. He began to play the guitar at boarding school in Kinanga. Music career He played with Franco and TPOK Jazz, which he joined in 1968.Graham, p. 212. He later joined the band ''Lovy du Zaire'', formed in 1971 or 1972 by Victor "Vicky" Longomba, who was previously a co-founder of OK Jazz and afterward a member of African Jazz. Other later-famous musicians in Lovy du Zaire included Bumba Massa, Youlou Mabiala and Syran Mbenza. According to one source, however, he "could not tolerate the leader's hypocrisy and soon quit." José-Karl Pierre-Fanfan (born 26 July 1975) is a French former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. Career A central defender, Pierre-Fanfan was born in Saint-Pol-sur-Mer and began his career at USL Dunkerque, where he played for four seasons before earning a move to RC Lens. In his first season at Lens he helped them to the French title and played a key role in the clubs run to the UEFA Cup semi-final in 2000. He joined AS Monaco in 2001, then moved to Paris Saint-Germain in 2004, where he played in the 2004–05 UEFA Champions League campaign. F. Burge Griswold (, Burge; after first marriage, Smith; after second marriage, Griswold; pen names, F. Burge Smith, Mrs. S. B. Phelps, Fan-Fan; April 28, 1826 – November 11, 1900) was a 19th-century American author. Virginia Lee Corbin (December 5, 1910 – June 4, 1942) was an American silent film actress. Early years Corbin was born Laverne Virginia Corbin in Prescott, Arizona to Leon Ernest Corbin and Virginia Frances (Cox) Corbin, and she had a sister, Ruth Emilie (Corbin) Miehle De Vries Lipari. Career Corbin began her career as a child actress in 1916, when she was billed as Baby Virginia Corbin. When she was six years old, she starred in fairy-tale films made by the William Fox Company. The success of ''Jack and the Beanstalk'' (1917) was such that Fox signed Corbin to a five-year contract. In addition to her salary, the contract specified that the company would provide instruction for her education. She went on to become a youthful flapper in the 1920s.
