''Famous Graves'' is the fourth and final full-length studio album by rock group Cheap Girls, released on May 12, 2014, in the United Kingdom and on May 13, 2014, in the United States through Xtra Mile Recordings. It is available on CD, vinyl and as a digital download. The album was recorded over three months in Chicago, Illinois and Grand Rapids, Michigan with Rick Johnson and Jeff Dean. It was self-produced by the band and mixed with the help of Dean. Recording On February 19, 2013, the band posted a picture on their Facebook page from a studio in Grand Rapids, MI stating it was "day one" of demoing for their next album. Cheap Girls
Cheap Girls were an American rock band from Lansing, Michigan. The band consisted of brothers Ian Graham (guitar, lead vocals) and Ben Graham (drums, back-up vocals), Jason Draper (Bass) and Adam Aymor (guitar). Formed in 2007, the band quickly began recording and touring, releasing their first album ''Find Me a Drink Home'' in 2008. Together they released four full-length studio albums. The band toured with bands such as Against Me!, The Gaslight Anthem, The Hold Steady, and The Bouncing Souls across the US and Europe. Craig Finn (born August 22, 1971) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. He is best known as the frontman of the American indie rock band The Hold Steady, with whom he has recorded eight studio albums. Fake Problems were a four-piece indie rock band from Naples, Florida. They released their first full-length album, ''How Far Our Bodies Go'', on Sabot Productions on April 27, 2007. Their second record, '' It's Great to Be Alive'', was released through Side One Dummy Records on February 17, 2009. Their third record '' Real Ghosts Caught On Tape'' was released September 21, 2010, also on Sideonedummy. The band broke up in 2014. Biography History and background Fake Problems was created by Chris Farren, Derek Perry, Casey Lee, and Sean Stevenson in 2005. Farren was in another band at the time, but he wanted to expand his creativity and write different music. Restorations is an American rock band, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They formed after the dissolution of Jena Berlin, post-hardcore band from Philly that featured guitarist/singer Jon Loudon on vocals, guitarist Dave Klyman, plus third guitarist Lee Hartney and original drummer Jeff Meyers (Belgrade, Ma Jolie). Originally considered to be a "once-a-month/easy-band" with limited touring the band now tours regularly. The band initially released a 7" with Evil Weevil records featuring the songs "Frankford" and "Of Trees" and then partnered with Paper + Plastick for their Strange Behavior EP release both digitally and on 10" vinyl. Joyce Manor is an American punk rock band from Torrance, California, formed in 2008. The band consists of lead vocalist/guitarist Barry Johnson, guitarist Chase Knobbe, and bassist/backing vocalist Matt Ebert. AJJ is an American folk punk band from Phoenix, Arizona, originally formed in 2004 as Andrew Jackson Jihad.
