''Family Circus'' is a 2001 Telugu-language comedy film written and directed by Teja. It stars Jagapati Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Roja, Kanchi Kaul, and music composed by R. P. Patnaik. It was produced by Sunkara Madhu Murali under the Melody Multimedia banner. The film was recorded as ''Average'' at the box office. Plot The film begins with Subramanyam / Subbu a simpleton works as a manager in a firm. He marries a no-nonsense lady Durga and the couple adopts Subbu's deceased sister's two sons. After a while, they are blessed with twin boys, the imps make their life miserable with their mischief for which Subbu has to vacate too many houses. So, Subbu decides to buy a house in a locality full of bizarre characters that include a retired army officer Lance naik Bhagath, a loud-mouthed neighbor Santharam, and some demented feminists. Teja (born Jasti Dharma Teja; 22 February 1966) is an Indian cinematographer turned director and screenwriter, known for his work primarily in Telugu cinema. He ventured into direction with hits such as ''Chitram'', ''Nuvvu Nenu'', and ''Jayam (2002 film), Jayam''. Babloo Prithiveeraj (born 29 November 1965) is an Indian actor, who has appeared in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada language films. Career Prithveeraj made his acting debut as a child artiste and featured in films including ''Naan Vazhavaippen'' (1979), under the stage name of Babloo.
