Tay Kewei (; born 18 August 1983) is a Singaporean singer-songwriter. She has released songs in English, Chinese, and Japanese. Professional background In 2006, Tay Kewei joined local singing competition Project SuperStar, initially getting into the top 24, but having to withdraw eventually due to conflicting gig schedules. After that, she decided to pursue a career in music, and became a background vocalist, duet partner, and erhu player for Chinese pop stars, including Wang Lee Hom, David Tao, A-Mei and JJ Lin assisting them on international tours. In 2009, she released an indie EP with keyboardist Lee Ein Ein, entitled ''KEEP!''. Promotional tours were held in several countries, including Hong Kong, Taiwan and Malaysia. Chrissie Hynde
Christine Ellen Hynde (born September 7, 1951) is an American musician. She is a founding member and the lead vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter of the rock band the Pretenders, and one of the band's two remaining original members alongside drummer Martin Chambers. Hynde formed the Pretenders in Hereford, England in 1978, with Pete Farndon, James Honeyman-Scott and Chambers. She has also recorded a number of songs with other musicians including Frank Sinatra, Cher and UB40. She recorded her first solo album, ''Stockholm'', in 2014. William Endfield Steinberg (born February 26, 1950) is an American songwriter. He achieved his greatest success in the 1980s with songwriting partner Tom Kelly; together they wrote or co-wrote the No. 1 hits " Like a Virgin" by Madonna (1984), " True Colors" by Cyndi Lauper (1986), "Eternal Flame" by the Bangles (1989), "So Emotional" by Whitney Houston (1987) and " Alone" (covered by Heart in 1987). Thomas F. Kelly (born April 16, 1952) is an American musician, best known for his songwriting partnership with Billy Steinberg. Steinberg and Kelly co-wrote numerous hit songs for popular music artists, including five number-one singles on the ''Billboard'' Top 100 chart in the 1980s. Early life Originally from Indiana, Kelly lived in Effingham, Illinois from 1963 to 1966, before moving back to West Lafayette, Indiana where he graduated from West Lafayette High School in 1967.
