Jamil Fakhri
Jamil Fakhri (Urdu: ; 15 September 1946 – 9 June 2011) was a veteran Pakistani film, TV and stage artist. He gained popularity from Pakistan Television Corporation's TV drama serial ''Andhera Ujala'', in which he played the police inspector Jaffer Hussain. In TV drama ''Andhera Ujala'', a high-ranking police officer Qavi Khan and his team of low and middle rank members of police fight crime in their locality in very humorous situations. Majid Fakhry (1923 – March 4, 2021) was a prominent Lebanese scholar of Islamic philosophy and Professor Emeritus of philosophy at the American University of Beirut. Biography Majid Fakhry was born in 1923 in Lebanon. After earning his bachelor's and master's degrees from the American University of Beirut, Fakhry received his Ph.D. in philosophy from University of Edinburgh in 1949. He taught at the London School of Oriental Studies, UCLA, Princeton University, and Georgetown University, where he spent his final years as professor emeritus, in addition to teaching and leading the Philosophy Department at the American University of Beirut. Sabah al-Din Abu Qaws ( ar, صباح الدين أبو قوس), also known as Sabah Fakhri ( ar, صباح فخري; May 2, 1933 – November 2, 2021), was a Syrian tenor singer from Aleppo.
