Faizal Hussein
Mohd Faizal Hussein (born 31 May 1967) is a Malaysian actor. He made his acting debut in 1972 and is known for his role as Roy in the 1986 teen film ''Gila-Gila Remaja'', directed by his father Hussein Abu Hassan. In 2019, ''Harian Metro'' listed him as one of the top 10 best Malaysian actors of all time. Career Faizal made his first film appearance in the film ''Darah Panglima'' in 1972, at the age of five. Starting acting in 1982 with the film ''Senja Merah'', he jumped up after starring ''Gila-Gila Remaja'' in 1986 as Azroy. Directed by his father, the late Hussein Abu Hassan, he made a huge impact for Faizal to prove his family's artistic blood. After that, he gained a lot of attention and starred in several films that featured him playing the protagonist. After almost three years of not appearing in a movie, he finally got the offer to bring the antagonist through '' Leftenan Adnan''. Gombak
The Gombak District is an administrative district located in the state of Selangor, Malaysia. The district was created on February 1, 1974, the same day when Kuala Lumpur was declared a Federal Territory. Until 1997, Rawang was the district capital; the capital has been moved to Bandar Baru Selayang. Gombak borders Kuala Lumpur to the southeast and the Genting Highlands to the east. Both Gombak and Kuala Lumpur, along with some other districts in Selangor, are situated within the Klang Valley. Dukun (film)
''Dukun'' ( en, "Shaman") is a 2018 Malaysian Malay-language legal horror-thriller film filmed in 2006. The film is loosely based on the true story of the gruesome murder of a Malaysian politician at the time, Datuk Mazlan Idris, by Mona Fandey, a once mildly popular Malaysian singer-turned-witch doctor convicted in 1993. The film was originally slated to be released in 2007 but it was postponed and no official statements was given, due to the adaption of a true high-profile murder case and the controversial nature of the film. Mona Fandey's family herself had voiced their dissatisfaction over the content and basis of the film after announcement of the film release. Astro TVIQ (formerly known as TVIQ) was an English-language (formerly both hybrid language Malay-language and English-language) channel. This channel was free as it was grouped under the Astro Family package. The viewership target was for children between the age of 4 to 15. Up until its closure, it was on Astro channel 610. It was available in 3 audio languages such as English, Malay, & Chinese, and provided subtitles in Malay & English. In Indonesia, it was formerly available on channel 20 via Astro Nusantara. Oh My English!
''Oh My English!'' is a Malaysian educational comedy series which debuted on 20 May 2012, on Astro TVIQ. The series ended on 17 December 2017. Development The TV series is a collaboration between Astro and the Malaysian Ministry of Education as part of an initiative to improve the pronunciation of English among Malaysians, in line with the ministry's "''Upholding Bahasa Malaysia, Strengthening English''" or (MBMMBI) policy. Astro worked with the ministry since 2009 to publish world-class learning programs to schools throughout Malaysia through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Kampus Astro. Mustika HD
Astro Mustika HD was a television channel by the Malaysian satellite provider Astro. It was the first in-house channel by Astro for telenovelas, movies, specials, telemovie & reality in High Definition in Malaysia. Astro Mustika HD was included in the network's Mustika Pack. When it launched on 21 May 2012 , it broadcast original programs and contents from almost all of Astro's Malay channels, but programs from channels such as Astro Ria, Astro Prima and most other channels were moved to Astro Maya HD when it launched on 24 June 2013. Astro Ria is a 24-hour Southeast Asia Bahasa Malaysia television channel exclusive to the Astro satellite television provider. It was one of the first 22 channels to be launched on Astro in 1996. TV9 (spelled as ''tivi sembilan'') is a Malaysian free-to-air television network launched on 22 April 2006 as a subsidiary of Media Prima, Media Prima Berhad.
