Fairfield High Preparatory School is a public high school located in Fairfield, Alabama, United States, a suburb of Birmingham, and serves grades 9–12. It is the only high school in the Fairfield City School System. School colors are purple, gold, maroon, and white. The athletic teams are called the Tigers. Fairfield competes in AHSAA Class 5A athletics. Fairfield High Preparatory School, historically known as Fairfield High School, was established in 1928 to serve white students living in the Fairfield area. Terrell Keith McKeller (born July 9, 1964, in Birmingham, Alabama) is a former American football tight end for the Buffalo Bills from 1987 to 1993. Before his NFL career, McKeller attended Jacksonville State University on a basketball scholarship. He was the power forward on the 1984/85 NCAA Men's Division II Basketball Championship team and led the Gulf South Conference in rebounds for three of his four seasons.
