Fairfield Christian Academy is a private Christian school in Lancaster, Ohio. Established in 1998, the school serves students from preschool to twelfth grade. History Fairfield Christian Academy was founded in 1998 as a ministry of Fairfield Christian Church in Lancaster, Ohio, a historical community 25 miles southeast of Columbus in Fairfield County. The school opened its doors to approximately 200 students and 20 faculty. Today the school has approximately 500 students in preschool through high school with over 80 faculty and staff. Lancaster ( ) is a city in Fairfield County, Ohio, in the south-central part of the state. As of the 2020 census, the city population was 40,552. The city is near the Hocking River, about southeast of Columbus and southwest of Zanesville. It is the county seat of Fairfield County. The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is an international student organization that consists of chapters in middle schools (in the range of grades 6-9 depending on the school). The NJHS was founded by the National Association of Secondary School Principals, and today has chapters in the United States, other U.S. territories, and around the world. To be considered for membership, applicants must reach the five standards which include leadership, citizenship, character, service, and scholarship.
