Fahrudin Durak (, Turkish language, Turkish: ''Fahrettin Durak''; born 18 July 1966) is an SFR Yugoslavia, Yugoslav former professional association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Mitrovica, Kosovo, Mitrovica, he started playing in KF Trepça (1984–86) before moving to Yugoslav First League club KF Prishtina (1987–89) and Belgrade's FK Rad (1989–92). In 1992, he moved to Turkey where he played in Galatasaray S.K. (football team), Galatasaray S.K. (1992–93) and Bursaspor (1995–97), while the rest of his career he spend playing in German clubs SpVgg Unterhaching (1994–95), Tennis Borussia Berlin (1996) - FuPa and VfR Mannheim (2000). Mitrovica ( sq-definite, Mitrovicë; sr-cyrl, Митровица) or Kosovska Mitrovica ( sr-cyrl, Косовска Митровица) is a city and Municipalities of Kosovo, municipality located in Kosovo. Settled on the banks of Ibar River, Ibar and Sitnica rivers, the city is the administrative center of the District of Mitrovica. The Turks in Kosovo, also known as Kosovo Turks, and Kosovan Turks, ( tr, ) are the ethnic Turks who constitute a minority group in Kosovo. History Turkish settlement into Kosovo began in the late 14th century after the medieval Serbian state lost the Battle of Kosovo and the territory came under Ottoman rule. Although Turkish colonists began arriving in 1389-1455 when, during the Ottoman conquest, numbers of soldiers, officials, and merchants began to make their appearance in the major towns of Kosovo, the overwhelming majority of modern Turks in Kosovo are of Albanian origin.
