Facundo Bagnis (; born 27 February 1990) is an Argentine professional tennis player. He has won 1 ATP doubles event at Stuttgart and 16 Challengers in singles, achieving a career-high singles ranking of World No. 55 in November 2016. The Pan American Games (also known colloquially as the Pan Am Games) is a continental multi-sport event in the Americas featuring summer sports, in which thousands of athletes participate in a variety of competitions. The competition is held among athletes from nations of the Americas, every four years in the year before the Summer Olympic Games. The only Winter Pan American Games were held in 1990. In 2021, the Junior Pan American Games was held for the first time specifically for young athletes. The Pan American Sports Organization (PASO) is the governing body of the Pan American Games movement, whose structure and actions are defined by the Olympic Charter. This was Croatia's first Olympic tennis gold and silver medals. For the first time since 1908, the gold medal match was contested by pairs representing the same country. Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury defeated the defending champion Bruno Soares and his partner Jamie Murray in the final, 3–6, 6–2, 6–2 to win the men's doubles tennis title at the 2021 US Open. It was the second major title for Ram and Salisbury as a team, following the 2020 Australian Open. Ram and Salisbury saved four match points en route to the title, in the quarterfinals against Matthew Ebden and Max Purcell.
