Giannina Facio
Giannina Facio, Lady Scott (born Giannina Facio Franco; September 10, 1955), is a Costa Rican actress who has appeared in a number of films, especially those of her husband, British film director and producer Sir Ridley Scott. She first worked with Scott on '' White Squall'' and has been his partner since '' Hannibal''. '' Gladiator'' was the first of two films in which she plays the wife of Russell Crowe's character, the other being '' Body of Lies''. Since ''White Squall'', Facio has made appearances in all of Scott's films except for '' American Gangster'' and '' The Martian''. Sara Facio
Sara Facio (born 18 April 1932) is an Argentine photographer. She is best known for having photographed, along with Alicia D'Amico, various cultural personalities, including Argentine writers Julio Cortázar, María Elena Walsh and Alejandra Pizarnik. Facio also was instrumental in establishing a publishing house for photographic work in Latin America and for the creation of a prominent photographic exhibition space in Argentina. Biography Facio was born in Argentina in 1932. She graduated from the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes in 1953. Later, she worked as an assistant to Annemarie Heinrich and started taking her own photographs in 1957. In 1960 Facio and Alicia D'Amico opened a photography studio together. Alda Facio Montejo (born 26 January 1948) is a Costa Rican feminist jurist, writer, teacher and international expert in gender and human rights in Latin America. She is one of the founding members of the Women's Caucus for Gender Justice at the International Criminal Court. Since 1991, she has been the Director of Women, Justice and Gender, a program within the United Nations Latin American Institute for the Prevention of Crime and the Treatment of Offenders (ILANUD) and vice president of the Justice and Gender Foundation. She was also one of the founding members of Ventana in the 1970s, one of the first feminist organizations in her native Costa Rica. Lorena Clare Facio (born June 30, 1943) is the former First Lady of Costa Rica and wife of former President Miguel Ángel Rodríguez Echeverría. Biography She was born in San José, Costa Rica on June 30, 1943 to her parents Manuel Emilio Clare and María Elena Facio. She is the only daughter and has three brothers. She concluded her secondary school education in Colegio Nuestra Señora de Sión and left for France for a few years. After returning to Costa Rica she began bilingual studies at Lincoln School. She is known to be a skilled sportswoman and represented Costa Rica in dressage at the 1983 Pan American Games.
