Facing (TV Series)
''Facing'' is a documentary series that portrays the lives of some of the most influential figures in history. The episodes combine archived photos and video footage with first person interviews from individuals who have known or "faced" these personalities; no single narrator for the series or any dramatization is involved. Produced by Network Entertainment, it is a five part series telecast on the National Geographic Channel. The series was nominated for the 2017 RealScreen Awards and Leo Awards. In the ''RealScreen'' Awards, it won the history/biographical category in a non-fiction series. It bagged several accolades in the Leo Awards including the best documentary program, best direction and best editing. Nadya Tolokonnikova ( rus, Надя Толоконникова, p=, full name Nadezhda Andreevna Tolokonnikova, rus, Надежда Андреевна Толоконникова, p=nɐˈdʲeʐdə təlɐˈkonʲːɪkəvə; born November 7, 1989) is a Russian musician, conceptual artist, and political activist. Viktor Yushchenko
Viktor Andriyovych Yushchenko ( uk, Віктор Андрійович Ющенко, ; born 23 February 1954) is a Ukrainian politician who was the third president of Ukraine from 23 January 2005 to 25 February 2010. As an informal leader of the Ukrainian opposition coalition, he was one of the two main candidates in the 2004 Ukrainian presidential election. Yushchenko won the presidency through a repeat runoff election between him and Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych. William Felix Browder (born April 23, 1964) is an American-born British financier and political activist. He is the CEO and co-founder of Hermitage Capital Management, the investment advisor to the Hermitage Fund, which at one time was the largest foreign portfolio investor in Russia. The Hermitage Fund was founded in partnership with Republic National Bank, with $25 million in seed capital. The fund, and associated accounts, eventually grew to $4.5 billion of assets under management. In 1997, the Hermitage Fund was the best-performing fund in the world, up by 238%. "Danny Boy" is a ballad, written by English songwriter Frederic Weatherly in 1913, and set to the traditional Irish melody of " Londonderry Air".
