Riton (musician)
Henry Smithson (born 13 September 1978), best known by his stage name Riton ( ), is an English electronic music DJ and producer from Newcastle upon Tyne. Early life and education Smithson was born in Newcastle upon Tyne. The name ''Riton'' is French slang for "Henry". He graduated from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. Career After finishing university, Smithson started the Switch Recordings label, upon which he released his first two 12" singles. He began DJing at Newcastle's "Shindig" nightclub. There, he was discovered by Mark Rae and signed to Grand Central Records independent record label. Like Rae, he then worked in Manchester's Fat City Records label/distribution/retail outlet. John The Revelator / Lilian
"John the Revelator" / "Lilian" is the second double A-side single released by English electronic music band Depeche Mode, issued on 5 June 2006. Both songs are included on Depeche Mode's 11th studio album, ''Playing the Angel'' (2005), and served as the fourth single from the album. The single became another UK top-20 hit for the band, reaching number 18. "John the Revelator" was edited down several seconds for the single, while "Lilian" was slightly remixed and the introduction was shortened. The single is the first UK double A-side release by the band since "Blasphemous Rumours / Somebody" in 1984. "John the Revelator" was played during Depeche Mode's Touring the Angel tour and can be watched on the tour's DVD. Depeche Mode are an English electronic music band formed in Basildon, Essex, in 1980. The band currently consists of Dave Gahan (lead vocals and co-songwriting) and Martin Gore (keyboards, guitar, co-lead vocals and main songwriting). Depeche Mode, originally formed by the lineup of Gahan, Gore, Andy Fletcher (musician), Andy Fletcher and Vince Clarke, released their debut album ''Speak & Spell (album), Speak & Spell'' in 1981, bringing the band onto the British New wave music, new wave scene. Thomas Schumacher (born December 5, 1957) is a theatrical producer, currently president of Disney Theatrical Group, the theatrical production arm of The Walt Disney Company. Barclay Macbride Crenshaw (born July 7, 1971), who is known by the stage name Claude VonStroke, is an American house producer based in Los Angeles. He owns Dirtybird Records based in San Francisco. In July 2006 he released his debut album, ''Beware of the Bird''. Fabric Mix Albums
From November 2001 to November 2018, the London nightclub fabric ran a monthly mix compilation series. Mixed by a variety of emerging and established DJs, the two series were entitled ''fabric'' and ''FABRICLIVE'' respectively. The compilation mixes were released independently by fabric on an alternating monthly basis. In May 2018, fabric announced that the ''fabric'' series would end "in its current form" with its 100th instalment; in October 2018, fabric revealed the final ''fabric'' compilation would be a triple-disc set, mixed by two of the club's residents— Craig Richards and Terry Francis—as well as its founder, Keith Reilly. ''Collective'' was an "interactive culture magazine" hosted by the BBC's website bbc.co.uk and run using the "DNA" software developed for h2g2. Tiefschwarz () are a German house group consisting of brothers, Alexander "Ali" (June 7, 1967-) and Sebastian "Basti" (December 28, 1969-) Schwarz, which formed in Stuttgart in 1996.IMO Records"Tiefschwarz Biography", ''IMO Records''.
