Fabric Discography
From November 2001 to November 2018, the London nightclub fabric ran a monthly mix compilation series. Mixed by a variety of emerging and established DJs, the two series were entitled ''fabric'' and ''FABRICLIVE'' respectively. The compilation mixes were released independently by fabric on an alternating monthly basis. In May 2018, fabric announced that the ''fabric'' series would end "in its current form" with its 100th instalment; in October 2018, fabric revealed the final ''fabric'' compilation would be a triple-disc set, mixed by two of the club's residents— Craig Richards and Terry Francis—as well as its founder, Keith Reilly. In August 2018, the club announced that the ''FABRICLIVE'' series would also end with its 100th instalment, and would be mixed by Kode 9—founder of the celebrated underground electronic music label, Hyperdub—and Burial—a pioneering UK dubstep producer. Benjamin Paul Ballance-Drew (born 22 October 1983), better known by his stage name Plan B, is an English rapper, singer, songwriter, actor and filmmaker. He first emerged as a rapper, releasing his debut album, ''Who Needs Actions When You Got Words'', in 2006. His second studio album, ''The Defamation of Strickland Banks'' (2010), was a soul and R&B album, and debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart. Rennie Pilgrem is an English electronic music producer. He is often considered responsible for the creation of the nu skool breaks genre. Before moving into breaks, Pilgrem was part of the influential rave group Rhythm Section along with Richie T, Ellis Dee and Nick Newton. Pilgrem is also the boss of Thursday Club Recordings a.k.a. "Stand Up Tall" is the fourth single released by the British rapper Dizzee Rascal and the lead single from his second album ''Showtime''. The single became Dizzee's fourth Top 40 hit when it entered the charts at number 10 on its release. It was the first Top 10 release from the rapper. "Stand Up Tall" spent a total of six weeks in the Top 75, the first single from Dizzee to have been released on two alternative CD singles. Dylan Kwabena Mills (born 18 September 1984), better known by his stage name Dizzee Rascal, is a British MC and rapper. Stanton Warriors
Stanton Warriors are a British DJ and production duo consisting of Dominic Butler and Mark Yardley. Originally from the West Country, the duo have performed internationally with their infamous Stanton Sessions parties in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. Their name was taken from a manhole cover, made by Stanton Ironworks. The Stanton Warriors' third mix album was released in the UK on 27 October 2008, entitled ''Stanton Session Vol. 3'', which is their best-seller to date, and received 5 out of 5 from iDJ. This was also released in a limited run, deluxe edition manhole cover tin pack. Dynamite MC (born Dominic Smith, 7 October 1973) is an English rapper and MC. He originally gained prominence in jungle/ drum and bass, working with Roni Size & Reprazent, but has also released hip hop material. Career He started his MCing career on pirate radio station Crush FM, broadcasting in Gloucester, South West England during the early 1990s. He met Roni Size in 1994 and began MCing for the Full Cycle crew. When the Bristol collective formed the live band Reprazent, Dynamite shared vocal duties with singer, Onallee. Their debut album ''New Forms'' won the Mercury Music Prize in 1997. Dynamite's role was enhanced for Reprazent's second album, the hip-hop influenced ''In the Mode'' (2000). The Nextmen
The Nextmen is a UK production/songwriting/DJ duo consisting of Dom Search (a.k.a. Dominic Betmead) and Brad Baloo (a.k.a. Brad Ellis). Often incorporating hip hop, drum & bass, dub, pop, soul and various other eclectic electronic and indie genres into their sounds, they have worked with many artists from the UK and US. Musical career The Nextmen have been remixers since 2000 working with Public Enemy, the Pharcyde, Blackalicious, Jeru the Damaja, Groove Armada, the Kooks, Fat Freddy's Drop, Rae & Christian, and many more. "Galang" is a song by British musician M.I.A. from her debut album ''Arular''. It was released on Showbiz Records in 2003 as her first single, which pressed 500 vinyl copies, gaining immediate international recognition via radio airplay, fashion shows, club rotations and internet filesharing. "Galang" was re-released on 1 November 2004 via XL Recordings as the second single from the album released by the label and was released for a third time as "Galang '05" on 11 October 2005 by the label and in the US by Interscope Records.
