Fabriano Basket was an Italian professional basketball club based in Fabriano, Marche. Established in 1966, it played in the professional first and second divisions from 1979 to 2008, the side disappeared in June 2008 when it sold its right to play in the then LegaDue to Roseto after struggling to raise financing for the team. Michael Meeks (basketball)
Michael Meeks (born February 23, 1972) is a Canadian former professional basketball player. Meeks is currently working for Canada Basketball. He is a former member of the Canadian national men's basketball team. College career A 6'9", 235 lb. centre-power forward, Meeks led Canisius College in his senior year in 1996 to the school's only NCAA Tournament appearance since the mid-1950s. They lost badly in the first round, however, to the Utah Utes. He finished his four-year career as the school's second all-time scorer and rebounder and was inducted in the Hall of Fame in January 2007. National team career Meeks played for Canada in the 2000 Summer Olympics and was central to the team winning their preliminary round group leading the team in scoring. Robert Allen McAdoo Jr. ( ; born September 25, 1951) is an American former professional basketball player and coach. He played 14 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he was a five-time NBA All-Star and named the NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 1975. He won two NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers during their Showtime era in the 1980s. In 2000, McAdoo was inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. He was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. McAdoo played at the center for the majority of his career. Eric Anderson (basketball, Born 1970)
Eric Walfred Anderson (May 26, 1970 – December 9, 2018) was an American basketball player. He played college basketball for the Indiana Hoosiers and played two seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the New York Knicks. Amateur career Anderson attended St. Francis de Sales High School on Chicago's far southeast side and was named 1988's Mr. Basketball for the state of Illinois as well as a McDonald's All-American in the same year. He appears in one scene in the documentary ''Hoop Dreams''. Anderson then enrolled at Indiana University Bloomington, where he played for the Hoosiers while studying sociology. Pace Shewan Mannion (born September 22, 1960) is an American retired professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and in the Italian league with the team of Cantù (which won the FIBA Korać Cup in 1991 defeating Real Madrid in the final when he scored 35 points). Anthony Pelle (born December 1, 1972) is an American professional basketball player who was selected by the Denver Nuggets in the second round (44th overall pick) of the 1995 NBA draft. Pelle, who was born in the Bronx, New York and played collegiately at Villanova University and Fresno State University, did not appear in any NBA games but plied his trade several leagues in Europe, most notably in Greece, Spain and Italy as well as in second-tier leagues in the United States.
