John David Jackson (born November 18, 1977), better known by his stage name Fabolous, is an American rapper. Raised in Brooklyn, he first gained recognition while still a senior in high school, when he performed live on American music executive DJ Clue's radio show, then on Hot 97. Jackson subsequently signed to DJ Clue's Desert Storm imprint, and later secured a distribution deal with major-label, Elektra. Jackson gained prominence with his first release, ''Ghetto Fabolous'' (2001), which spawned the hit singles "Can't Deny It" (featuring Nate Dogg) and "Young'n (Holla Back)". ''Street Dreams'' is the second studio album by American rapper Fabolous. The album was released on March 4, 2003, by Desert Storm Records and Elektra Records. It was received moderately from a critical standpoint and was a commercial success. It reached number three on the US ''Billboard'' 200, with 185,000 copies sold in its first week. It had four charting singles, but only "Into You", which featured Tamia (and an alternate version, featuring Ashanti) and " Can't Let You Go" were major successes. Produced by Just Blaze and guest vocals from Lil' Mo and Mike Shorey, "Can't Let You Go" reached number one on the Rhythmic Top 40, and number four on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart. Baby Don't Go (Fabolous Song)
"Baby Don't Go" is the fourth single from Fabolous's fourth album ''From Nothin' to Somethin'''. The video features Jermaine Dupri and is produced by him also. T-Pain contributes to the radio and album version. A somewhat similar instrumental for the song was used in Season 2 of Jersey Shore. The song contains samples from "The Finer Things" by Chuck Stanley and "Let Me Get Some" by Whodini. Shaffer Chimere Smith (born October 18, 1979), known professionally as Ne-Yo, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, dancer, and record producer. "Make Me Better" is the third single from Fabolous' album ''From Nothin' to Somethin'''. The song features Ne-Yo on the hook and is produced by Timbaland. Song Content Timbaland is quoted as saying that: : "''the beat is unique sounding and the strings are so good that they will have to be used on future songs". The strings are sampled from Sherine's "Al Sa'ban Aleh". Jagged Edge (American Group)
Jagged Edge is an American R&B group from Atlanta, Georgia. The group, initially signed to record producer Jermaine Dupri's So So Def Recordings, is best known for their string of hit singles including " Let's Get Married" and "Where the Party At" (featuring Nelly), most of which were produced by Dupri. The group's members include identical twin lead singers Brian and Brandon Casey as well as Richard Wingo and Kyle Norman.
