Fabián Cubero
Fabián Alberto Cubero (born 21 December 1978) is an Argentine former professional footballer. A versatile player, Cubero started as a defensive midfielder but spent most of his career playing as a right back. During his professional career that spanned more than twenty years, Cubero played predominantly for Vélez Sarsfield, winning five league titles with the team (spread over three different decades) and becoming the most capped player in the club's history (counting both domestic and international competitions). With seven, Cubero is the player with most local titles in the history of Vélez Sarsfield. Club career Cubero started his professional career with Vélez Sarsfield in 1996. Pedro Larraquy
Pedro Omar Larraquy (born 13 June 1956 in Buenos Aires) is an Argentine former footballer who played as a defender or midfielder. He spent the majority of his playing career at Vélez Sársfield, where he set a record number of appearances with 455. In December 2008, he became interim manager of Vélez Sársfield to replace Hugo Tocalli. Larraquy started his professional career in 1975, with Velez Sarsfield. He played as a defender at first but in later years he was converted into a midfield player. In 1979, the club reached the final of the Metropolitano championship only to lose to River Plate. The 2010–11 Primera División season was the 120th season of top-flight professional football in Argentina. A total of 20 teams competed in two championships —the Apertura and Clausura— over the course of the season, which started on August 6, 2010 and ended on June 30, 2011, one day prior to the start of the 2011 Copa América, held in Argentina. Ricardo Alberto Gareca Nardi (; born 10 February 1958), nicknamed ''el Tigre'' and ''el Flaco'' ("Tiger " and "Slim"), is an Argentine football manager and former player.
