Fabien Danesi, a Doctor of Philosophy in Art History, is a lecturer at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens. Former resident of the Villa Medici, French Academy in Rome in 2007–2008, he previously taught at the François Rabelais University of Tours, Paris 13 University, Pantheon-Sorbonne University and the Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines University. The Palais de Tokyo (''Tokyo Palace'') is a building dedicated to modern and contemporary art, located at 13 avenue du Président-Wilson, facing the Trocadéro, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. The eastern wing of the building belongs to the City of Paris, and hosts the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris (Paris' Museum of Modern Art).
