FMW Women's Championship
The FMW Women's Championship (or the FMW Independent Women's & WWA Women's Championship) was two Japanese women's professional wrestling championships (WWA World Women's Championship and FMW Independent World Women's Championship) contested in the promotion Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling (FMW). During the heyday of FMW, the female wrestlers wrestled in the same types of bloody death matches as the FMW men, and were feared by other Japanese female wrestlers for their toughness and intensity. Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling
Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling is a Japanese professional wrestling promotion founded on July 28, 1989, by Atsushi Onita as (FMW). The promotion specializes in hardcore wrestling involving weapons such as barbed wire and fire. They held their first show on October 6, 1989. In the late 1990s, FMW had a brief working agreement with Extreme Championship Wrestling, and as well had 14 DVDs released in the U.S. by Tokyopop. On March 4, 2015, FMW was resurrected under the name . With the resurrected FMW not holding any events since 2018, Onita announced in 2021 that he would be starting Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling-Explosion in which the promotion would specialize in exploding death matches. Bad Nurse Nakamura
is a retired Japanese professional wrestler known as . She worked most of her career for Frontier Martial Arts Wrestling. Career After dropping out of high school, Rie Nakamura joined the Frontier Martial Arts Wrestling Dojo, where she was trained by Tarzan Goto and Megumi Kudo. She debuted on December 22, 1990, on FMW's first all-female show, losing to Keiko Iwami, who also made her debut. After paying her dues for over two years, she finally began to move up the ranks. In August 1993, she became known as Nurse Nakamura, portraying a sweet registered nurse. Combat Toyoda
Noriyo Toyoda (豊田 記代, born October 26, 1967) is a retired Japanese professional wrestler, best known under the name Combat Toyoda (コンバット豊田). She spent much of her career in Frontier Martial Arts Wrestling. Professional wrestling career Trained by Jaguar Yokota in the All Japan Women's Pro Wrestling Dojo, Noriyo Toyoda debuted on September 17, 1986, against the future Aja Kong, Erika Shishido. Fall Spectacular: Kawasaki Legend was a Fall Spectacular professional wrestling event produced by Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling (FMW). The event took place on September 28, 1997 at the Kawasaki Stadium in Kawasaki, Kanagawa, Japan. The show aired via tape delay on Samurai TV! on October 12. The main event was a No Ropes Exploding Barbed Wire Steel Cage Time Bomb Death Match between Atsushi Onita and W*ING Kanemura, which stipulated that if Onita lost, he must retire from professional wrestling and if Kanemura lost, then W*ING Alliance would have to disband. FMW 8th Anniversary Show was a professional wrestling event produced by Frontier Martial-Arts Wrestling (FMW). The event took place on April 29, 1997 at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan. This was the eighth edition of the company's flagship event Anniversary Show, commemorating the seventh anniversary of the company. It was the second edition of the event at the Yokohama Arena after 3rd Anniversary Show in 1992 and the first time in four years that the event was not held at Kawasaki Stadium.
