FL Lines
The FL lines, formerly ''Lazio regional railways'' ( it, ferrovie regionali del Lazio, also ''Ferrovie Laziali'') consist of 8 commuter rail lines operated by Trenitalia, converging on the city of Rome. Lines FL1, FL2 and FL3, particularly in areas closer to Rome, function like a rapid transit service, integrated with the Rome Metro and surface transportation. The other lines (numbered from FL4 to FL8) are served by traditional regional trains, and used almost exclusively for commuter traffic. All eight lines are considered regional trains by Trenitalia. On timetables and departure boards at the stations the trains are marked with the letter ''R'' (Regional). The numbering of the lines (FL1, FL2, ...) appears only in some informational materials and on the signs of some stations. However, in the ATAC network, the numbering appears in all network maps. Viterbo Porta Fiorentina Railway Station
Viterbo (; Viterbese: ; lat-med, Viterbium) is a city and ''comune'' in the Lazio region of central Italy, the capital of the province of Viterbo. It conquered and absorbed the neighboring town of Ferento (see Ferentium) in its early history. It is approximately north of GRA (Rome) on the Via Cassia, and it is surrounded by the Monti Cimini and Monti Volsini. The historic center of the city is surrounded by medieval walls, still intact, built during the 11th and 12th centuries. Entrance to the walled center of the city is through ancient gates. Apart from agriculture, the main resources of Viterbo's area are pottery, marble, and wood. The town is home to the Italian gold reserves, an important Academy of Fine Arts, the University of Tuscia, and the Italian Army's Aviation Command headquarters and training centre. Nettuno Railway Station
Nettuno is a town and ''comune'' of the Metropolitan City of Rome in the Lazio region of central Italy, south of Rome. A resort city and agricultural center on the Tyrrhenian Sea, it has a population of approximately 50,000. Economy It has a touristic harbour hosting about 860 boats and a shopping centre, selling everything for fishing and sailing. There is also a yacht club. Nettuno is the city of the Denominazione di Origine Controllata, D.O.C. wine Bellone, Cacchione. Nettuno has a large base for the Italian Force, whose territory extends to the Province of Latina, and an Italian Police School, where especially police dogs are trained. The FL8 (until 2012 FR8) is a regional rail route. It forms part of the network of the Lazio regional railways ( it, ferrovie regionali del Lazio), which is operated by Trenitalia, and converges on the city of Rome, Italy. The route operates over the infrastructure of the Rome–Formia–Naples railway, Rome–Formia–Naples and Albano–Nettuno railways. Within the territory of the ''comune'' of Rome, it plays the role of a commuter railway, but this section of the route has only two stations, Roma Termini railway station, Roma Termini and Torricola railway station, Torricola. It is estimated that on average about 40,000 passengers travel on an FL8 train each day. The designation FL8 appears only in publicity material (e.g. public transport maps), in the official timetables, and on signs at some stations. Cassino Railway Station
Cassino () is a ''comune'' in the province of Frosinone, Southern Italy, at the southern end of the region of Lazio, the last city of the Latin Valley. Cassino is located at the foot of Monte Cairo near the confluence of the Gari and Liri rivers.
