FK Takovo
FK Takovo ( sr-Cyrl, Фудбалски клуб Таково) is a football club from Gornji Milanovac, Serbia. The club is a part of the ''Sports Society Takovo''. The team plays in Serbian League West, the third tier of the Serbian football league system. The club was founded in July 1911 and is one of the oldest clubs in Serbia. It is named after nearby historic village of Takovo, where the Second Serbian uprising started in 1815. History The club was founded in July 1911 through the initiative of Gornji Milanovac's school youth led by Dušan Borisavljević and Petar Trifunović, who brought the first football ball, that same year, from Belgrade to Milanovac. Serbian League West
Serbian League West ( sr, Српска лига Запад, Srpska liga Zapad) is one of four sections of the Serbian League, the third national tier. The other three sections are Serbian League Belgrade, Serbian League East and Serbian League Vojvodina. It is also the highest regional league for the western part of Serbia. The league was founded in 2003 following a merger between the Serbian League Dunav and the Serbian League Morava. Slobodan Santrač
Slobodan Santrač (, ; 1 July 1946 – 13 February 2016) was a Serbian football manager and player. He is the all-time top scorer of the Yugoslav First League with a total of 218 goals, as well as the top scorer in the history of OFK Beograd. As manager, Santrač reached the knockout stage at the 1998 FIFA World Cup with FR Yugoslavia. Club career Born in Koceljeva, Santrač grew up in Gornji Milanovac, starting out at local club Takovo. He moved with his family to Valjevo in 1958 and soon joined Radnički, which merged into Metalac Valjevo in 1959. Saša Zorić (; born 2 September 1974) is a Serbian former footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Born in Gornji Milanovac, Zorić started out at local club Takovo, before joining the youth system of Red Star Belgrade. He would make his senior debut with First League of FR Yugoslavia newcomers Jastrebac Niš during the 1993–94 season. Between 1994 and 1996, Zorić spent two seasons with Obilić. Gornji Milanovac
Gornji Milanovac ( sr-Cyrl, Гoрњи Милановац, ) is a town and municipality located in the Moravica District of central Serbia. The population of the town is 24,216, while the population of the municipality is 44,406. The town was founded in 1853. Before 1859 the original name of the town was Despotovica ( sr-Cyrl, Деспотовица), after the Despotovica river passing by the town. In 1859 the name was changed to Gornji Milanovac at the request of the Prince of Serbia Miloš Obrenović.
