FK Kareda Kaunas
FK Kareda was a Lithuanian football team from the city of Šiauliai and re-located from Šiauliai to Kaunas in 2000. It was dissolved in 2003. Before 2000 it was known as "Kareda Šiauliai". In 1995–1996 it was known as "Kareda-Sakalas Šiauliai". Before 1995 it was known as "Sakalas Šiauliai". In 1990 was founded Sakalas, in 1995 this club was sponsored by the criminal group "Princai" from Šiauliai. When Lithuanian police and power structures stike to this criminal elements, the football club lost sponsorship and was sold and in 2000 removed to Kaunas. Kaunas
Kaunas (; ; also see other names) is the second-largest city in Lithuania after Vilnius and an important centre of Lithuanian economic, academic, and cultural life. Igoris Pankratjevas
Igoris Pankratjevas (born 9 August 1964) is a Lithuanian professional football coach and a former player. He made his debut in the Soviet Top League in 1983 for FK Žalgiris Vilnius. Igoris Pankratjevas coached several top Lithuanian football clubs. In 2010 season he was voted best coach of the year after winning bronze medals with a promoted FK Žalgiris Vilnius side. Appointed Lithuania assistant coach in March 2012, before taking over as caretaker in September 2013 and then giving a permanent head coach role on 21 December 2013. Rimantas Žvingilas
Rimantas ("Rimas") Žvingilas (born 3 September 1973) is a Lithuanian former international association football, football striker. He has played in his home country, in Belgium, in several clubs in Russia, and in Kazakhstan. He retired on 7 July 2009. Žvingilas made 25 appearances for the Lithuania national football team between 1995 and 2001. On 25 November 2010, Žvingilas was appointed head coach at Norwegian Division 3 team Bergsøy IL. His contract was terminated by mutual consent on 24 April 2011. A press release cited that Zvilingas wanted to spend more time with his family as the reason. Irmantas Stumbrys (30 May 1972 – 16 November 2000) was a Lithuanian football player who played as a midfielder. He has played for a number of first division Lithuanian teams and for some Russian sides including Zenit. Club career He started his career at Ekranas Panevėžys and played for Kareda-Sakalas Šiauliai before moving abroad to join Russian giants Zenit St. Petersburg in 1997. He had just won promotion to the Russian Premier League with Torpedo-ZIL before his death. International career Stumbrys made his debut for Lithuania in a November 1991 Baltic Cup match against Latvia and earned a total of 37 caps, scoring 2 goals. His final international was an October 1999 European Championship qualifying match against Scotland. Death He died in November 2000 after getting shot in his head in Panevėžys, Lithuania. His body was found in his car. His death was considered suicide after police investigations. He was survived by his wife and his son.

Tomas Kančelskis (born 19 August 1975 in Šiauliai) is a Lithuanian professional footballer currently playing for KFK Šiauliai. A central defender, Kančelskis started his career with Romar Mažeikiai, where he tasted success before his twentieth birthday, as Romar won the 1993-94 A Lyga title. He joined his hometown side Kareda Šiauliai in 1994, and continued to prosper, winning both the A Lyga (1997 and 1998) and the Lithuanian Cup (1996 and 1999) twice with his new team. He also developed into an international player with Kareda, making his first appearance for Lithuania in 1995.
