FK Borac Čačak
Fudbalski klub Borac Čačak (), or simply Borac Čačak, is a professional football club based in Čačak, Serbia. The home ground is Čačak Stadium, which has seating capacity of 8,000. As of 2019–20 season, the club competes in third tier Serbian League West. The word Borac in translation means ''fighter'' in English. Mainly because of the horizontal stripes, Borac's nickname is "Zebras". History At the end of World War I, football began to be played in Čačak. According to some sources the first football match took place in 1920. Six years later, a group of union workers who organized on 1 May 1926 founded the club. Initially, the uniform was red and later was changed to red-and-white. The first president of the club was a carpenter, Jovan Jolović. On 6 August 1932, FK Borac had its first night match under stadium floodlights, with the Arsenal football club. Čačak Stadium ( sr-cyr, Стадион Чачак) or Borac Stadium ( sr-cyr, Стадион Борца), is a multi-purpose stadium in Čačak, Serbia. It is the home ground of football (soccer), football club FK Borac Čačak, Borac Čačak. History The Čačak Stadium was opened in 1958. The stadium has undergone reconstruction from 2011 to 2017, in a project that was worth 3 million euros. After the completion of the reconstruction, the stadium is capable of holding 8,000 spectators. 2006 Montenegrin Independence Referendum
An independence referendum was held in Montenegro on 21 May 2006. By 23 May, preliminary referendum results were recognized by all five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, suggesting widespread international recognition if Montenegro were to become formally independent. On 31 May, the referendum commission officially confirmed the results of the referendum, verifying that 55.5% of the population of Montenegrin voters had voted in favor of independence. Because voters met the controversial threshold requirement of 55% approval, the referendum was incorporated into a declaration of independence during a special parliamentary session on 31 May. FK Metalac Gornji Milanovac
FK Metalac Gornji Milanovac () is a professional football club based in Gornji Milanovac, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian First League, the second tier of the national league system. History The club was founded as FK Radnik on 12 June 1961. The initiative came from Miroslav Spasojević, a former FK Takovo player, and was backed by two local companies, Graditelj and Metalac. The club was immediately registered with the Čačak Football Subassociation and started competing in the local leagues. They would change their name to FK Metalac in 1965. The club made its first notable achievement by qualifying for the Yugoslav Cup in 1974, but lost away to Borac Travnik in the opening round. The Serbian First League ( sr, Prva liga Srbije) is the second-highest football league in Serbia. The league is operated by the Serbian FA. Sixteen teams competed in this league for the 2013–14 season. Two teams were promoted to the Serbian Superliga while the 3rd placed team played in the play-offs against the 14th team in the Super liga for the first time. The Serbian First League (Serbian: Prva liga Srbije) is the second-highest football league in Serbia. The league is operated by the Serbian FA. 18 teams will compete in this league for the 2012-13 season. Two teams will be promoted to the Serbian Superliga and six will be relegated to the Serbian League, the third-highest division overall in the Serbian football league system. From next season, this division will be reduced to 16 clubs, thus 6 teams will be relegated from, and 4 will gain promotion to Serbian First League. 2011–12 Serbian SuperLiga
The 2011–12 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Jelen SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) is the sixth season of the Serbian SuperLiga since its establishment. The defending champions are Partizan, after having won their fourth Serbian Superliga title in a row at the conclusion of the previous season. Partizan successfully defended their title after a 4–0 victory at Borac Čačak with three games left to play. It was their fifth consecutive Serbian title and their 24th domestic championship. Teams Inđija and Čukarički were relegated to the 2011–12 Serbian First League after the 2010–11 season for finishing in 15th and 16th place, respectively.
