The FIP World Tag Team Championship is a professional wrestling championship (professional wrestling), world tag team championship owned by the independent circuit, independent professional wrestling promotion Full Impact Pro (FIP). It was created and debuted on April 22, 2005, at FIP's The Usual Suspects House show, event. Title history As of , , there have been 21 reigns between 20 teams composed of 39 individual champions. The inaugural champions were DP Associates (Eddie Vegas and Jimmy Rave). At 910 days, The Hooligans (Devin Cutter and Mason Cutter) hold the record for the longest reign in the title's history. Sal Rinauro's and Brian Kendrick, Spanky's reign holds the record for the shortest reign in the title's history at 27 days. The Island Kings (Jaka and Sean Maluta) are the current champions in their first reign as a team and individual. Sean Maluta (born September 30, 1988) is an American professional wrestler currently competing on the independent circuit. He made a number of appearances with WWE and took part in the first Cruiserweight Classic. Professional wrestling career Maluta has made several appearances for WWE, starting in June 2016 when he was announced as one of 32 men participating in the inaugural Cruiserweight Classic. Kory Chavis is a professional wrestler, also known by the ring name Rainman. He works for several independent promotions, including Dragon Gate USA, Full Impact Pro, and Evolve. Jonathan Davis is an American professional wrestler, working for independent promotions including Dragon Gate USA, Full Impact Pro, and Evolve. Davis is a two-time former NWA World Tag Team Champion and a former NWA Florida Tag Team Champion as part of The Dark City Fight Club with Kory Chavis. Professional wrestling career Davis was trained by Chris Turner and Dory Funk, Jr., and made his professional wrestling debut on June 23, 2003. The Dark City Fight Club are a professional wrestling tag team consisting of Jon Davis and Kory Chavis. History In March 2008, Jon Davis teamed with up Kory Chavis as The Dark City Fight Club (DCFC) in Full Impact Pro (FIP). They were revealed as a team on March 22, when they defeated Shayne Swift and Myles Long, and were revealed to have been the masked team that had attacked the Black Market tag team. The following month DCFC faced Black Market in a match that ended in a no contest when DCFC poured gasoline onto Black Market member Joey Machete and threatened to set him on fire. In an Anything Goes match in May, DCFC defeated Black Market, which was followed by Black Market's Shawn Murphy defeating Davis via disqualification and Machete defeating Chavis in a No Disqualification match on July 19. Eric Koenreich (born March 12, 1982) is an American professional wrestler. He is known by his ring name Erick Stevens and for his time in Ring of Honor.
