FIBA Under-19 World Championship 2013
The 2013 FIBA Under-19 World Championship (Czech: Mistrovství světa FIBA do 19 let 2013) was the 11th edition of the FIBA U19 World Championship, the biennial international men's youth basketball championship contested by the U19 national teams of the member associations of FIBA. It was hosted by the Czech Republic from 27 June to 7 July 2013. The United States won their fifth title by defeating Serbia 82–68 in the final. Format Teams played a round robin in the preliminary round, with the top three teams advancing to the main round. The teams played against the teams from the other groups. 2012 FIBA Africa Under-18 Championship
The 2012 FIBA Africa Under-18 Championship was the 18th FIBA Africa Under-18 Championship, played under the rules of FIBA, the world governing body for basketball, and the FIBA Africa thereof. The tournament was hosted by Mozambique from August 16 to 25, with the games played at the Pavilhão da Académica in Maputo. Senegal defeated Ivory Coast 71–62 in the final to win their first title. Heo Hoon
Heo Hoon (born 16 August 1995) is a South Korean professional basketball player. He currently plays for Suwon KT Sonicboom in the Korean Basketball League and the South Korean national team. Early life Heo enjoyed playing various sports from a young age but, due to his father's initial opposition, did not harbor dreams of becoming a professional athlete. He and his older brother spent a year and a half of their elementary school years in the United States when their father was sent for coaching training and worked as a coach at Pepperdine University. Kang Sang-jae (born 31 December 1994) is a South Korean professional basketball player. He began his career with the Korean Basketball League side Incheon Electroland Elephants and is now playing for Wonju DB Promy. Dario Šarić (; born 8 April 1994) is a Croatian professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected with the 12th overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft. He also represents the senior Croatia national team. Duane Notice (born September 7, 1994) is a Canadian basketball player for the Sudbury Five of the National Basketball League of Canada. He played college basketball for the University of South Carolina where he is the all-time leader in games played.
