FEU Tamaraws Men's Basketball
The FEU Tamaraws men's basketball is a collegiate basketball varsity team of the Far Eastern University. FEU currently holds the record of winning the most number of championships (20 titles) in the men's basketball division of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. FEU also appeared in the Philippine Collegiate Championship finals four times, and was able to win back to back championships in 2004 and 2005. The team originally played in the NCAA from 1929 to 1936 and was one of its founding members. This will be Nash Racela's final season as the coach of the Tamaraws as he will be handling PBA team TNT KaTropa. Nash's brother Olsen Racela will be the new head coach of the team for season 80. While the main campus of FEU is in Sampaloc, Manila, the basketball team is now based in FEU Diliman in suburban Novaliches, Quezon City. The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), established in 1938, is an athletic association of eight Metro Manila universities in the Philippines. The eight-member schools are Adamson University (AdU), Ateneo de Manila University (ATENEO), De La Salle University (DLSU), Far Eastern University (FEU), National University (Philippines), National University (NU), University of the East (UE), University of the Philippines Diliman (UP), and the University of Santo Tomas (UST). Jeffrei Chan
Jeffrei Allan D. Chan (born February 11, 1983) is a Filipino professional basketball player for the NorthPort Batang Pier of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). After being snubbed in the 2008 PBA Draft, he became known as one of the best three-point shooters of his generation. Early life and college career Chan was born and raised in Bacolod. He grew up with his mother and one brother, as his father had left the family. He started playing basketball for the University of St. La Salle (USLS) in grade school where he competed in various tournaments and earned numerous titles for the school. Kenneth James D. Tuffin (born 5 May 1997) is a Filipino-New Zealand basketball player for the Wellington Saints of New Zealand's National Basketball League (NZNBL). Early life and education Tuffin was born on 5 May 1997 in New Zealand, spending his childhood in Wellington. As a child, Tuffin had watched games of the New Zealand National Basketball League and his father used to take him to basketball games. San Beda Red Lions
The San Beda Red Lions is the collegiate varsity basketball team of the San Beda University that plays in the NCAA. The juniors basketball team is called the Red Cubs of San Beda University–Rizal, while the women's varsity basketball team is called the Red Lionesses. NCAA Season 91 is the 2015–16 collegiate athletic year of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (Philippines), National Collegiate Athletic Association in the Philippines. Glenn Capacio
Glenn Capacio (born May 15, 1964, in Palo, Leyte) is a Filipino retired professional basketball player in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) and the former head coach of PBA team GlobalPort Batang Pier and was also the former head coach of the FEU Tamaraws from 2007 to 2010. College and amateur career Capacio was the FEU Tamaraws' skipper during the 1983 UAAP season and the most dependable performer for rookie coach Bong Chua.
