Flying Doctors of Nigeria is an air ambulance service established by Dr Ola Orekunrin. Description It has its main office in Lagos and another in Port Harcourt with 20 aircraft and 47 staff, 44 of whom are doctors. As well as moving injured and ill patients to the hospital, the organisation has set up medical infrastructure for the government and worked with private companies to improve their on-site medical services. French Data Network (FDN) is a French non-profit organization ( association loi 1901) founded on June 2, 1992. Its purpose is: "the promotion, use and development of the Internet and Usenet networks in accordance with their ethics, in particular by encouraging non-commercial use for research and educational purposes", "the defense of public liberties on the Internet and the defense of the neutrality of telecommunication networks". FDN is the oldest Internet Service Provider in France still in business, offering RTC (since 1992), ADSL (since 2005) and VPN (since 2013) access to its members. It is a founding member of Gitoyen, a non-profit tier 2 operator. FDN has also been politically active, taking a strong position against the HADOPI law. Nicaraguan Democratic Force
The Nicaraguan Democratic Force (', or FDN) was one of the earliest Contra groups, formed on August 11, 1981 in Guatemala City. It was formed to oppose Nicaragua's revolutionary Sandinista government following the 1979 overthrow of Anastasio Somoza Debayle. It merged the 15th of September Legion, which comprised mostly former members of Somoza's National Guard, with the Nicaraguan Democratic Union, an organization of émigrés from the business and professional classes. The new FDN also began assimilating the MILPAS movement, bands led by disenchanted former MAP-ML guerrillas. The FDN military was under the command of former National Guard colonel Enrique Bermúdez.
