FC Vujadin Boškov
Fudbalski Centar Vujadin Boškov is the training facility of Serbian professional football club FK Vojvodina. The sports complex was named after Vujadin Boškov, a former player and successful trainer of FK Vojvodina. History In the early 1970s, on the edge of Novi Sad and the road to Veternik, a sport and training center was built to be the home of the football club FK Vojvodina. In 2006, the club reconstructed the complex along with the stadium. In 2009 the training facility was expanded. Facilities The center has 85,000 m2 of sports facilities and 2,000 m2 of enclosed space. It hosts six courts. One court offers artificial grass. Bleachers surround two courts, and the main allows matches and training at night. The main building houses two press centers for interviews. Regarding functionality, architectural solutions, modern equipment, and building materials used, this center is one of the most modern training camps in South Eastern Europe. Veternik
Veternik ( sr-cyr, Ветерник) is a suburban settlement of the city of Novi Sad, Serbia. Its population numbers 17,454 (2011 census) and most of its inhabitants are ethnic Serbs. Over the years, especially in the 1990s, it grew with size and inhabitants thus merging with Futog to the west and Novi Sad to the east. Name The settlement was named in honour of the assault of the Serbian army in the Veternik mountain area during the breach of the Macedonian front in World War I. It was first called ''Novi Veternik'' ("New Veternik"), but was later changed into ''Veternik''. Dušan Tadić ( sr-Cyrl, Душан Тадић, ; born 20 November 1988) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a centre-forward, winger or attacking midfielder and captains both Eredivisie club Ajax and the Serbia national team. Tadić spent his youth at hometown club AIK Bačka Topola and Vojvodina, eventually playing in the UEFA Europa League with the latter. After two seasons with Groningen he joined Twente in 2012, where he earned a move to Southampton of the Premier League. Jovan "Jovo" Bosančić (; born 7 August 1970) is a retired Serbian footballer who played as a right midfielder. Club career Born in Novi Sad, SR Serbia, Bosančić started playing football at the age of 10 when he joined the youth team of FK Vojvodina.
