FC Tallinn is a association football club, football club based in Tallinn, Estonia. Founded in 2017, The club competes in Esiliiga, the second-highest division of Estonian football. History FC Tallinn was founded on 17 November 2017 and started operating in Lasnamäe, the most populous district in Tallinn of which majority is Russian-speaking. The club was created after FCI Tallinn, FC Infonet's merger with FCI Levadia Tallinn, Levadia left Lasnamäe's football future in uncertainty. The club entered the Estonian league system in 2018 and quickly rose to Esiliiga B, which they won in the 2022 Esiliiga B, 2022 season after narrowly beating JK Tabasalu in the last second of the final matchday. Esiliiga
The Esiliiga is the second division in the Estonian football league system. The Esiliiga is ranked below the Meistriliiga and above the Esiliiga B. As in most countries with low temperatures in winter time, the season starts in March and ends in November. The league features several reserve teams of Meistriliiga clubs. According to the rules set by the Estonian Football Association, reserve teams are ineligible for promotion to the Meistriliiga, but can play in the Estonian Cup. Competition format During the season, the teams play each of the other four times, twice at home and twice away. This makes for a total of 36 games played each season. The teams gain three points for a win, one for a draw, and none for a defeat. Promotion and relegation between divisions is a central feature of the league. Tihhon Šišov
Tihhon Šišov (born 11 February 1983, in Tallinn) is an Estonian footballer, who plays for FC Tallinn in Estonian Esiliiga. Position He plays the position of defender and is 1.73 m tall and weighs 77 kg. Club career To Hungary and back In December 2008 he went on a trial to Nemzeti Bajnokság I side Győri ETO FC and later signed a 3,5-year deal with the club, alongside teammate Tarmo Kink. Only a week later the club wanted to drop the player. Šišov opted against appealing to FIFA as he and the clubs involved found a solution. The contract was mutually terminated and the player returned to Levadia. At the end of the 2009 Meistriliiga season, he declined new contract offers from Levadia as he wanted to test himself outside Estonia. The 2020–21 Estonian Cup was the 31st season of the Estonian main domestic football knockout tournament. FCI Levadia won their tenth title, and qualified for the 2021–22 UEFA Europa Conference League. First Round (1/64) First round matches were played between 22 July and 12 August. II Liiga
II liiga is the fourth level of football league competition in Estonia arranged by the Estonian Football Association. It consists of 28 teams, divided geographically into two divisions with 14 teams respectively in group North/East and South/West. Until 2013, it was the third level league. Competition During the season, teams play each opponent twice, once at home and once away, for 26 matches. At the end of the season, the winners of both divisions face each other in one final match to determine the champion of II liiga. As in most countries with low temperatures in winter time, the season starts around April and lasts until around the start of November. The 2019–20 Estonian Cup was the 30th season of the Estonian main domestic football knockout tournament. Flora won their eight title after defeating Narva Trans in the final.
