Football Club Rozova Dolina Kazanlak ( bg, Футболен клуб Розова долина Казанлък) or simply known as Rozova Dolina ( bg, Розова Долина) is a Bulgarian association football club based in the town of Kazanlak, Stara Zagora Province, which currently competes in the South-East Third League, the third division of Bulgarian football. Their home ground since 1968 has been the Sevtopolis Stadium. The club's name is translated as Rose Valley and is named after the homonymous Rose Valley region of central Bulgaria, which also encompasses the town of Kazanlak. History The club was formed in 1948 as DNA Kazanlak, a football club characterized by its trademark red and white jerseys. Sevtopolis Stadium
Seuthopolis (Ancient Greek: Σευθόπολις) was an ancient hellenistic-type city founded by the Thracians, Thracian king Seuthes III between 325–315 BC and the capital of the Odrysian kingdom. Its ruins are now located at the bottom of the Koprinka Reservoir near Kazanlak, Stara Zagora Province, in central Bulgaria. Several kilometres north of the city is the Valley of the Thracian Rulers where many magnificent royal tombs are located. Seuthopolis was not a true polis, but rather the seat of Seuthes and his court. His palace had a dual role, functioning also as a sanctuary of the Cabeiri, the gods of Samothrace. Most of the space within the city was occupied not by homes but by official structures, the majority of the people living outside the city. It had Thracian and Greek populace. Raif Muradov ( bg, Раиф Мурадов; born 10 December 1993) is a Bulgarian footballer who plays as a defender for Levski Lom. Career Muradov began his professional career at Chavdar Etropole. In 2013, he moved to Montana. After helping the team to gain promotion to A Group, he was released from the team and joined the 3rd league team Botev Vratsa. Yordan Filipov
Yordan Filipov ( bg, Йордан Филипов; 18 June 1946 - 27 July 1996) was a Bulgarian footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He was maternal grandfather of Andrey Galabinov. In his career Filipov played for Rozova Dolina, Spartak Plovdiv, CSKA Sofia, Sliven, Dunav Ruse and Cherno More Varna, with whom he became the oldest player to appear in the Bulgarian A Group. Career Beroe Ivanov began his career in Beroe and made his debut in the 2003-04 season. On 6 May 2010, Beroe won the Bulgarian Cup, beating Chernomorets Pomorie in the final. Todor Dimitrov Yanchev ( bg, Тодор Янчев; born 19 May 1976) is a former Bulgarian footballer, who played as a midfielder. Career Playing career Born in Kazanlak, Yanchev's first club was local club F.C. Rozova Dolina, before he moved to the squads of PFC Neftochimic Burgas.
