Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Football Club, also known as ONGC FC, was an Indian professional football club from Mumbai in Maharashtra, India. The club was affiliated with the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation. It has competed in the National Football League (India), later I-League, alongside the MDFA Elite League. History 2006–2010: I-League 2nd Division In 2006, the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation revived its football section and renamed it as ''ONGC F.C.'', in hope of expanding their involvement in Indian football, which included title sponsoring the old National Football League, Durand Cup and Nehru Cup. In their inaugural season in the I-League 2nd Division, the club finished on 6th place. After their first season, the club offered their players full-time contracts and higher salaries, as well as inducting youth sections. 2012–13 I-League
The 2012–13 I-League was the sixth season of the I-League, the Indian professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2007. The season began on 6 October 2012 and finished on 12 May 2013 with Churchill Brothers crowned champions in matchday 25. Dempo S.C., Dempo were the defending champions, having won their third I-League title the 2011–12 I-League, previous season. On 29 December 2012, Mohun Bagan were barred from competing in the I-League for 2 years following a decision taken by the I League core committee. This was because they failed to turn up in the second half of the match against East Bengal F.C., East Bengal because of crowd trouble. All their results in the I-League were declared null and void and all their remaining fixtures were cancelled. Cooperage Ground
The Cooperage Football Ground is a football stadium located in Nariman Point, Mumbai, India. It is currently home to multiple Mumbai Football League clubs. The Western India Football Association has operated from the Cooperage Ground since 1969, and the Mumbai District Football Association holds a small office. It was a venue for one of India's premier national leagues, the I-League. I-League club Kenkre is currently using the stadium as their home ground since their inception in 2000. 2010 I-League 2nd Division
The 2010 I-League 2nd division was the third season of the second tier of the I-League, the highest football league in India. It commenced on 26 March 2010 with the first matches of the first round and ended in early May 2010 with the last matches of the promotion round. The league serves as the second top tier of Indian Football, using promotion and relegation with the I-League, which is top tier league of India. Ayomide Babatunde Badmus (28 February 1986) is a Nigerian footballer who plays as a forward.
