1993–94 Ukrainian Third League was the second season of the fourth level. The season started on August 21, 1993, with the last games played on July 3, 1994. It was won by Sirius Zhovti Vody. 1996–97 Ukrainian Football Amateur League
1996–97 Amateur championship of Ukraine was the fifth amateur championship of Ukraine and the 33rd since the establishment of championship among fitness clubs (KFK) in 1964. The format of competitions was preserved as in the Soviet competitions where winner of six regional groups advanced to the final (second) stage. First stage competitions were played in double round robin format where each team played with others four times. There were total of 33 teams competing. The 1995–96 Ukrainian Second League is the fifth season of 3rd level professional football in Ukraine. The league was reorganized and, since being split three seasons ago, merged with the lower league tier known as Ukrainian Third League. 1994–95 Ukrainian Third League
1994–95 Ukrainian Third League was the last season of the experimental Third League. For the following year the league was consolidated into the Druha Liha. All the teams that placed above 17th place were welcome to apply for participation in the Druha Liha along with any successful amateur teams. The season started on August 14, 1994, with the final round being played on July 2, 1995. The newly reformed CSKA won the top awards. However, those medals were snatched from under the nose of the leading Nyva Myronivka who were in the lead with only two rounds to go. Those, together with the Tysmenytsia men, were the main challengers for the gold by the end of the season. This was the last year that the relegated clubs left the league and if Shakhtar Stakhanov was showing some determination for a victory, Zalishchyky were pretty much forced out of the league by various circumstances, such as poor performance. 1992–93 Ukrainian Transitional League
The 1992–93 Ukrainian Transitional League season was the first season of the fourth tier which existed for the next three years. The League was organized after the split of the 1992 Transfer League into the Second League and the Transitional League. A total of eighteen teams participated in the competition, ten of which contested the 1992 season in the Ukrainian Second League and the remaining eight were promoted from the KFK competition (Amateurs). The competition began on August 15, 1992, with eight games. After the 17th round (November 17, 1992) the competition was retired for a winter break until April 3, 1993.
