FC Liefering
FC Liefering GmbH is an Austrian association football club, originally from Liefering, a section of Salzburg. It currently plays in the Second League, the second tier of Austrian football. Since 2012, Liefering has been a reserve team for Austrian Football Bundesliga side FC Red Bull Salzburg. In December 2011 Red Bull Salzburg signed a cooperation with FC Pasching ( Regionalliga Mitte) and USK Anif (Regionalliga West). The coach of the Juniors, Gerald Baumgartner, left Salzburg and became new coach of FC Pasching. Also players went to Pasching and Anif. After the 2011–12 season, the new coach Peter Hyballa left the club and became new head coach of SK Sturm Graz. Liefering's ongoing presence in the Erste Liga continues to create unrest, with average an attendance of under 500, many people believe the club is not good for the league. The Austrian Football Second League (german: 2. Liga) is the second-highest professional division in Austrian football. It was formerly called the First League (''Erste Liga''), from 2002 to 2018. Kilian Schröcker (born 3 September 2001) is an Austrian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Austrian Regionalliga Salzburg club Saalfelden. Club career Schröcker started playing football with TUS Admont, before moving to SK Sturm Graz in 2014. Jesse Alan Marsch (born November 8, 1973) is an American professional soccer coach and former player who is the current head coach of club Leeds United. Marsch played 14 seasons as a midfielder in Major League Soccer (MLS) with D.C. United, Chicago Fire, and Chivas USA, winning three league titles and four U.S. Open Cup titles, as well as earning two caps for the United States national team. Matthias Jaissle (born 5 April 1988) is a German football manager, and former player who played as a defender. He was previously the assistant manager of Brøndby IF, and in 2021 became the manager of FC Liefering, then subsequently of Austrian Bundesliga side Red Bull Salzburg, where he currently coaches.
