FC Lanaudière
Football Club Lanaudière was a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in Lanaudière-Nord, Quebec that plays in the Première Ligue de soccer du Québec. The club was founded in 2016 by the Association Régionale de Soccer (ARS) Lanaudière to replace FC L'Assomption-Lanaudière after the latter's departure from the PLSQ. The club was supported by the region's 14 affiliated amateur soccer clubs, and is the first club in the PLSQ to use this regional model. The Première ligue de soccer du Québec (PLSQ) is a semi-professional soccer league created in 2012. The Quebec Soccer Federation operates both men's and women's divisions at the pro-am tier of the Canadian soccer league system. Gabriel Wiethaeuper-Balbinotti (born April 12, 1998) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays for AS Blainville in Ligue1 Quebec. Early life Born in Montreal, Quebec to Brazilian parents, Balbinotti spent the early years of his childhood in Porto Alegre, Brazil, where he attended Pan American School. Luca Ricci (Canadian Soccer)
Luca Salvatore Ricci (born February 23, 1998) is a Canadian professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder. Club career Ricci began his career with the Montreal Impact Academy. Ricci was loaned to Phoenix Rising FC for the 2018 season on February 2, 2018. He signed with Ottawa Fury FC on February 1, 2019. He joined the Fury's MLS-affiliate Montreal Impact on an emergency loan under the Emergency Hardship Rule. In 2021, he began playing university soccer for the Montreal Carabins, while also playing in the semi-pro PLSQ with FC Lanaudière. Protais-Hamza Bumbu-Mutambala (born February 8, 1999) is a Canadian soccer player who plays for CS Mont-Royal Outremont. Early life Mutambala was born in a refugee camp in Nyarugusu, Tanzania, but grew up in Quebec City in Canada. He began playing youth soccer at age 10 with AS Sud-Ouest Montréal. Kevin Luarca (born December 10, 1993) is a former soccer player. Born in Venezuela, he represented Canada internationally. Club career Early career Luarca joined the Montreal Impact Academy for the 2010 season in the Canadian Soccer League's first division. He would re-sign with the team in 2011. Before the commencement of the CSL season, he was named to the gameday roster for the Montreal Impact match against the Tampa Bay Rowdies on April 9, 2011, where he was an unused substitute. Gabard Fénélon (born 3 June 1981) is a Haitian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Canadian club CS Mont-Royal Outremont. Early years Fénelon was born in Tortuga (Île de la Tortue), a small Haitian island in the northwest of the country. Hicham Aâboubou ( ar, هشام عبوبو; born 19 May 1978) is a Moroccan professional footballer who last played as a defender for FC Lanaudière in the Première Ligue de soccer du Québec.
