FC Guichen
Football Club de Guichen is a football club based in Guichen, France. As of the 2021–22 season, it competes in the Régional 1, the sixth tier of the French football league system. The team plays its home games at the Stade Charles Gautier. Red and white are the club colours. History FC Guichen was founded in 1959. In 2017, the club was promoted to the Championnat National 3 for the first time.In 2018, a relegation to the Régional 1 was followed by promotion to the National 3 in 2019. In the 2019–20 season, Guichen was again relegated from the National 3. The Championnat National 3, commonly referred to as simply National 3 and formerly known as Championnat de France Amateur 2, is a football league competition. The league serves as the fifth division of the French football league system behind Ligue 1, Ligue 2, Championnat National, and the Championnat National 2. Usually contested by 168 clubs, the Championnat National 3 operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Championnat National 2 and the regional leagues of the Division d'Honneur, the sixth division of French football. Seasons run from August to May, with teams in twelve groups playing 26 games each totalling 2080 games in the season. Most games are played on Saturdays and Sundays, with a few games played during weekday evenings. 2019–20 Championnat National 3
The 2019–20 Championnat National 3 was the third season of the fifth tier in the French football league system in its current format. The competition was contested by 168 clubs split geographically across 12 groups of 14 teams. The teams included amateur clubs (although a few are semi-professional) and the reserve teams of professional clubs. The season was suspended indefinitely on 12 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 16 April 2020, the FFF announced the termination of the competition, with promotion and relegation decided by points earned per game played, subject to the normal verification process by the financial authority, the ''DNCG''. French Football League System
The French football league system is a series of interconnected leagues for club football in France and Monaco, and includes one Spanish side. At the top two levels of the system is the Ligue de Football Professionnel, which consists of two professional national divisions, Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. Below that are a number of leagues run by the Fédération Française de Football. At level 3 is the semi-professional Championnat National. Below that is the amateur Championnat National 2 (level 4), which is divided into four parallel regional divisions, followed by the Championnat National 3 (level 5), which is divided into 12 parallel regional divisions. 2020–21 Coupe De France
The 2020–21 Coupe de France was the 104th season of the main football cup competition of France. The competition was organised by the French Football Federation (FFF) and is normally open to all clubs in French football, as well as clubs from the overseas departments and territories ( Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Réunion, Saint Martin, and Saint Pierre and Miquelon). Due to the travel restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the club from Saint Pierre and Miquelon did not progress beyond the second round and qualifying clubs from New Caledonia and Tahiti did not participate. Olympique de Saumur Football Club is a French association football club founded in 2000. They are based in Saumur, Pays de la Loire and since 2022–23 they play in the Championnat National 2, the fourth tier of the French football league system.
