FC Gloria Buzău
FC Gloria Buzău (), commonly known as Gloria Buzău, is a Romanian association football club based in Buzău. The club currently plays in the Liga II. History Establishment FC Gloria Buzău was founded on 16 June 1973, by the Buzău County Local Council, as part of CSM Buzău (''Clubul Sportiv Municipal'') ( En: ''Municipal Sports Club''), the local all-sports association. Gloria absorbed the former team of Buzău, Metalul, whose place it also took in Divizia C (currently Liga III). With Metalul's players, together with other local footballers (especially from another team, ''Şoimii''), they ranked 1st in their first season of Divizia C. Dan Tulpan (born 10 June 1957) is a Romanian former footballer who played as a central defender. After he ended his playing career, Tulpan worked as president at Gloria Buzău. Asociația Suporter Club Oțelul Galați (; ''Galați Steel''), commonly known as Oțelul Galați or simply as Oțelul, is a Romanian football club based in the city of Galați, Galați County, which competes in the Liga II. Founded in 1964 as the team of the Galați steel works, Oțelul spent the first two decades of their existence in the lower leagues. 2017–18 Liga IV
The 2017–18 Liga IV was the 76th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association play against one from a neighboring county in a playoff to gain promotion. From this season the counties were divided into 7 regions, each consisting of 6 counties and the draw was made on 28 February 2018, with 3 months and a half before the first matches. Liga IV
Liga IV is the fourth level of the Romanian football league system. Its name was changed from Divizia D into Liga IV before the start of play for the 2006–07 season. Current format Liga IV has 42 divisions. The divisions are regionalised and are organised by every county association. Each team plays in their own county. The county associations decide how many teams play in the league and how many matches each side plays. In Romania the most frequently used system is one division with matches played home and away. A number of associations prefer 2 or even 4 parallel divisions with the teams finishing first meeting in a play-off to decide the champion. The number of teams differ from one county association to another. The Mureș County association has the fewest teams, 8, which play in a Scottish system, playing 4 times against one another. 2015–16 Liga II
The 2015–16 Liga II was the 76th season of the Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football league system. The season began on 29 August. The 28 teams were divided in two series (with 14 teams each). The regular season was played in a round-robin tournament. The first six teams from each series played a play-off for promotion to Liga I. Because of switching to a system with just one series of 22 teams from next season, there will be 11 teams relegated from Liga II this year. After the regular season, the last two teams in each series relegated to Liga III; the last 3 teams in each play-out pool also relegated, while the 3rd placed teams in the play-out faced off in a game that determined the 11th relegated team.
