They joined the NPSL in 2015 and play their home games at Thomas Athletic Field on the campus of Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. National Premier Soccer League
The National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) is an American men's association football, soccer league. The NPSL is a semi-professional league, comprising some teams that have paid players and some that are entirely amateur. The league is officially affiliated to the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) and has automatic qualification for the U.S. Open Cup. It is the successor of the Men's Premier Soccer League, a regional league originally based in the Western United States, which has now expanded nationwide to encompass teams from 29 states. The league's motto is "A National League with a Regional Focus". Competition format The National Premier Soccer League is divided into four separate regions (Northeast, South, Midwest, and West). Ijamsville ( ) is an unincorporated community located southeast of Frederick, in Frederick County, Maryland, United States. The town was founded by Plummer Ijams, a descendant of Welsh immigrants, from whom the town took its name. The discovery of high-quality slate in the area led to Ijamsville's brief era as a mining town, which lasted until it transitioned to agriculture in the mid-1800s. Alexander Francis Vei Chen Lee (born January 15, 1990), known as Alex Lee, is a Guamanian international footballer who currently plays for Christos FC. Alex is sometimes referred to by his nickname "A-Lee.” Club career College Lee played college soccer at the University of Maryland, College Park between 2008 and 2011. Lee missed the majority of his sophomore year in 2009 season due to injury from a car accident. While at college, Lee played for USL PDL club Real Maryland Monarchs during their 2011 season.
