FC Dinamo-Auto Tiraspol
Fotbal Club Dinamo-Auto Tiraspol, commonly known as FC Dinamo-Auto Tiraspol, or simply Dinamo-Auto, is a Moldovan football club from Tiraspol, Moldova, playing in the village of Tîrnauca, Slobozia. They play in the Moldovan Super Liga, the highest tier of Moldovan football. History In the summer of 2022, the ''Pelican'' impresario agency took over the club from Tiraspol and announced that they will use the team as a launching pad for players who are under contract with the agency. Before the start of 2022–23 season of the Moldovan Super Liga, the new management of Dinamo-Auto changed the whole squad, bringing 23 new players, 5 Moldovans and 18 foreigners. The 2016–17 Moldovan National Division ( ro, Divizia Națională) is the 26th season of top-tier football in Moldova. The competition began on 23 July 2016 and ended in May 2017. Moldovan National Division
The Moldovan Super Liga is an association football league that is currently the top division of Moldovan football league system. The competition was established in 1992, when the country became independent from the Soviet Union. It was formed in place of former Soviet republican competitions that existed since 1945. Before the Soviet occupation of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina in 1940, clubs from modern Moldova competed in the Romanian football competitions, particularly Nistru Chișinău. There are currently eight teams in the competition. At the end of the season, the bottom club is relegated to the Moldovan Liga 1 and replaced by the lower league's champion. Sheriff Tiraspol—located in Transnistria—is the most successful league club with 20 titles, and is followed by Zimbru Chișinău with eight wins.
