FC Caspiy
Football Club Caspiy ( kk, Каспий Ақтау Футбол Клубы, ''Kaspıı Aqtaý Fýtbol Klýby'') is a Kazakhstani football club based at the Zhastar Stadium in Aktau. The club name derived from Caspian Sea ( kk, Каспий теңізі). Their best year was 1996, when they finished 4th in the Premier League and reached the semi-finals of the Kazakhstan Cup. Since 2001, they were stuck in the First Division, until gaining direct promotion to the top division in the 2019 season. History From 1979 – 1991, the team played in the Soviet second league. From 1992 onwards, following the breakup of the Soviet Union, they played in the championship of Kazakhstan. The best achievement – the 4th place in 1996. Premier league return Caspiy returned to the Kazakhstan Premier League for the first time in 19 seasons in 2020, with Head Coach Srdjan Blagojevic guiding them to a 10th-place finish. Zhastar Stadium
Zhas Kanat Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Aktau, Kazakhstan. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Caspiy. History The stadium was opened on April 19, 1995. The stadium's first match was held between " Munayshy" and " Elimay". In 2014, the authorities announced a possible transfer of the Zhas Kanat Stadium into private hands which caused a lot of indignation among parents of children training at the stadium, as well as among the coaches of the sports departments. The Kazakhstan Football Federation banned championship and cup matches at the stadium in early 2017 because of its inappropriate surface. Subsequently FC Caspiy had to play the home matches in Shymkent. The refurbishment began on 18 April 2018 and was completed in August 2018. 2001 Kazakhstan Premier League
The 2001 Kazakhstan Premier League was the tenth season of the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest Association football, football league competition in Kazakhstan, and took place between 28 April and 22 October. Teams FC Ordabasy, Zhiger were relegated at the end of the 2000 season, and were replaced by FC Aktobe, FC Aktobe-Lento, FC Caspiy, FC Mangystau and FC Atyrau, Atyrau. FC Ekibastuzets, Batyr were reformed as ''Ekibastuzets-NK'' and FC Kairat, CSKA Kairat became ''Kairat''. Baurzhan Baimukhammedov
Bauyrzhan Isauly Baimukhammedov ( kk, Бауыржан Исаұлы Баймұхаммедов, ''Bauyrjan Isaūly Baimūhammedov''; 15 February 1948 – 5 April 2015) was a Kazakh football coach.
