Fútbol Club Cartagena B is the reserve team of FC Cartagena, a List of football clubs in Spain, Spanish football team based in Cartagena, Spain, Cartagena, in the autonomous community of Region of Murcia, Murcia. Founded in 2015, it currently plays in , holding home games at ''Estadio Ciudad Jardín''. History In July 2015, Cartagena B was created as FC Cartagena's second reserve team, the first being CD Algar. It took the place of dissolved Soho-Medi CF in the ''Primera Autonómica'', achieving immediate promotion as second. In 2016, the club became Cartagena's first reserve team after the agreement with Algar was not renewed. Another promotion followed (now to Tercera División), after CF Lorca Deportiva assured their promotion to Segunda División B. Estadio Cartagonova
Estadio Cartagonova is a multi-purpose stadium in Cartagena, Spain, Cartagena, Spain. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and hosts the home matches of Segunda División club, FC Cartagena. The capacity of the stadium is 15,105 spectators. History The construction of the football field, was assigned to the project team CMMP Arquitectos (Cardona, Martin and Plaza Molina), Murcia. These gave the bases for the design and construction of the Mini Estadi of FC Barcelona in 1982, designed by the Catalan architect Josep Ramón Casals. Completed in a few months, 7 February 1988 the stadium hosted its first match between Cartagena CF and Burgos CF which ended goalless. Only after 2 games the first goal on the stadium was scored by Uribarrena from Athletic Bilbao B, Bilbao Athletic. 2020–21 Tercera División
The 2020–21 Tercera División was the last for this league as the fourth tier of Spanish football. It began in October 2020 and ended in June 2021 with the second phase and promotion play-off final in the Canarian group. Because the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) suspended the previous season on 11 March 2020 at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in Spain, the RFEF announced on 6 May the termination of that season, the revocation of all relegations from the Segunda División B, Segunda B and Tercera divisions, and the expansion of both leagues. Each regional federation was allowed to plan its own group for the 2020–21 season and as this season became somewhat shorter than usual, the RFEF recommended the subdivision of each region into two groups in the first phase for ease of scheduling, with a final phase in which the teams regrouped based on initial positions. Iván Ayllón
Iván Ayllón Descalzo (born 4 May 2001) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a winger for FC Cartagena. Career Born in La Seca, Valladolid, Castile and León, Ayllón was a UD Sur youth graduate. On 31 January 2020, he joined Tercera División side Atlético Tordesillas, and made his senior debut on 9 February, playing the last 21 minutes and scoring his team's only in a 4–1 home loss to CD Palencia Cristo Atlético. Ayllón scored 14 goals for Tordesillas during the 2021–22 season, as the club narrowly missed out promotion from Tercera División RFEF. Djakaria "Djaka" Barro (born 12 January 2002) is an Ivorian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Spanish club FC Cartagena B. Club career Born in Abobo, Barro moved to Spain and was a CD Leganés youth graduate. He made his senior debut with the C-team on 11 April 2021, playing the last 31 minutes in a 1–1 Primera Categoría de Aficionados away draw against CD Los Yébenes San Bruno B.
