FC Carmen București
Carmen București is a Romanian football club based in Bucharest. In 2017, Carmen București was refounded and introduced in the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. In the summer of 2019, owner of Carmen bought Sportul Snagov and merged the two entities, following that in the summer of 2020 the club will be renamed as Carmen București. History Early period Carmen, which originally took the name of its owner, started to play in Liga III but when Liga I was reorganised after the war gained a place in the top league, as the team incorporated few of the best-known players at the time. During the break of the 1946–47 season, at which end Carmen was runner-up, the team was ordered by the Government to play a friendly game against FC Dinamo Tbilisi, a Soviet team, after being also advised to "lose", as the game was supposed to be communist propaganda. 2018–19 Liga IV
The 2018–19 Liga IV was the 77th season of the Liga IV, the fourth tier of the Romanian football league system. The champions of each county association play against one from a neighboring county in a playoff to gain promotion. This is the second season when the counties were divided into 7 regions, each consisting of 6 counties and the draw was made on 15 February 2019, with 4 months before the first matches. Liga II
The Liga 2, most often spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company with the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. Format Divisions Since its inception in 1934, Liga II had between 2 and 9 parallel divisions, with clubs divided based on geographic regions. Generally, Seria I included eastern teams while Seria II included western sides, although clubs near the center of the country are allowed to choose in which series they will compete. The first six teams from each series participate in a play-off for potential promotion to Liga I. The Cupa României ( en, Romanian Cup) is a Association football, football cup competition for List of football clubs in Romania, Romanian teams which has been held annually since 1933–34 Cupa României, 1933–34, except during World War II. Dacia Unirea Brăila
Dacia (, ; ) was the land inhabited by the Dacians, its core in Transylvania, stretching to the Danube in the south, the Black Sea in the east, and the Tisza in the west. The Carpathian Mountains were located in the middle of Dacia. It thus roughly corresponds to the present-day countries of Romania, as well as parts of Moldova, Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary, Slovakia, and Ukraine. A Dacian Kingdom of variable size existed between 82 BC until the Roman conquest in AD 106, reaching its height under King Burebista. Club Sportiv Sportul Snagov, commonly known as Sportul Snagov or simply as Snagov, was a Romanian professional football club from Snagov, Ilfov County founded in 2007 as Damila Măciuca and dissolved in 2020. Last time the club played in the Liga II, the second-tier in the Romanian football system, but withdrew during the winter-break of the 2019–20 season, due to financial problems.
