FC Bobruisk
FC Bobruisk is a defunct Belarusian football club from Bobruisk. They disbanded in 1995. History The team was formed in late 1984 as ''Traktor Bobruisk''. During Soviet years, they played in the Belarusian SSR league. From 1992 until 1995, the team was playing in the Belarusian Premier League. In late 1992, they changed name to ''Fandok Bobruisk'' and 1995 to ''FC Bobruisk''. After unsuccessful 1995 season, they finished last with only 2 points in 15 games. The team was disbanded. The Belarusian Premier League or the Vyšejšaja Liha or the Vysheyshaya Liga ( be, Вышэйшая ліга, russian: Высшая лига, "Top League") is the top division of professional football in Belarus, and is organized by the Belarusian Football Federation. The number of teams in the competition has varied over the years from as high as 17 (1992–93 season) to as low as 11 (2012). As of 2016, the league included 16 teams. Each team plays every other team twice during the course of the season. At the end of the season, the two teams with the fewest points are automatically relegated to the Belarusian First League, while the third worst team plays a promotion-relegation playoff against the third best team from the second tier. The 1993–94 Belarusian Cup was the third season of the annual Belarusian football cup competition. It began on 3 July 1993 with the first of five rounds and ended on 24 June 1994 with the final at the Dinamo Stadium in Minsk. FC Neman Grodno were the defending champions, having defeated FC Vedrich Rechitsa in the 1993 final, but were knocked out in the first round by Albertin Slonim. FC Dinamo Minsk won the final against FC Fandok Bobruisk to win their second title. Round of 32 The games were played on 3 July 1993. Round of 16 The games were played on 7 July 1993. The UEFA Cup Winners' Cup was a European football club competition contested annually by the winners of domestic cup competitions. The cup was, chronologically, the second seasonal inter-European club competition organised by UEFA.
