FC 13 Sofia
Futbol Klub 13 ( bg, Футбол клуб 13), or simply FK 13 Sofia is a Bulgarian football club based in Sofia. In his history the club won two Bulgarian Cups in 1938 and 1940. ''Football Club 13'' is a football club in Sofia that existed independently between 1909 and 1944, and again from 2018 to the present. History The beginning of FC-13 was laid in the spring of 1909. Bulgarian students, studying at the Galatasaray Lyceum in Constantinople, formed a football team. His name is Sava in honor of Sava Kirov - one of the pioneers of sport in Sofia, and also the founder of the club. After the end of the school year students return to Sofia. The club was officially founded in October 1913. It is wrong to think that the number 13 is due to the year of the club's official establishment. Regional Amateur Football Groups (Bulgaria)
The Bulgarian Regional Amateur Football Groups ( bg, Областни Аматьорски Футболни Групи, Oblastin Amat'orski Futbolni Grupi) are the 4th and 5th level of the Bulgarian football league system. There are 41 groups called A Regional Football Groups and 19 B Regional Football Groups. Teams from B RFG are promoted to A RFG and A RFG teams are promoted to Third Amateur Football League (Bulgaria), Third League. Competition format A RFG (or A OFG) has 28 regional geographically specified divisions, as some of the regions have more than one group. 28 teams are promoted to Third League at the end of every season. there are 9 B RFG (or B OFG) divisions registered for season 2015-16. Football ( bg, футбол, ''futbol'') is the most popular sport in Bulgaria. It was introduced in 1893–1894 by Swiss gymnastics teachers invited to the country. A football (initially called ритнитоп, ''ritnitop'', "kickball") match was first played in Varna's High School for Boys in 1894, where it was introduced by Georges de Regibus, and the game was brought to Sofia by Charles Champaud the following year. Sofia ( ; bg, София, Sofiya, ) is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria. It is situated in the Sofia Valley at the foot of the Vitosha mountain in the western parts of the country. Bulgarian Cup
The Bulgarian Cup ( bg, Купа на България, Kupa na Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian annual football competition. It is the country's main cup competition and all officially registered Bulgarian football teams take part in it. The tournament's format is ''single-elimination'', with all matches being one-legged, except the semi-finals. The competition's winner gets the right to take part in the UEFA Europa Conference League. If the winner has already secured a place through the Bulgarian A Professional Football Group, the team that has come ''fourth'' in the championship substitutes it. The competition has been dominated by Sofia-based teams. The Sofia teams have won together a total number of 65 titles. The three most successful teams are Levski Sofia (26 cups), CSKA Sofia (21 cups) and Slavia Sofia (8 cups). The current cup holders are Levski Sofia, who beat CSKA Sofia 1–0 in the 2022 final.
