The FCF Zappers are a professional Indoor American football, indoor football team founded on December 2, 2020. They are a member of the Fan Controlled Football, Fan Controlled Football League and are currently owned by Trevor May, Dalvin Cook, Bob Menery, Ronnie Singh, and Stephen Deleonardis. History On December 2, 2020, the Zappers' team name and logo were announced, along with three other teams (FCF Glacier Boyz, Glacier Boyz, FCF Beasts, Beasts, and FCF Wild Aces, Wild Aces). 2021 Fan Controlled Football Season
The 2021 Fan Controlled Football season is the first season of the Fan Controlled Football (FCF), a professional Indoor American football, indoor football league. The FCF, which sees itself as "Esports and traditional sports colliding together" is unique because the league leans heavily on fan interaction to make important decisions, such as play-calling, drafts, rules, team names and seasonal awards with voting done through a mobile app, a concept the owners first tested in the Indoor Football League when they owned the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles, later giving up ownership of the team when they started the FCF. The Fan Controlled Football League's (FCFL) first season initial start date was originally in 2018 but was postponed. Johnny Manziel
Johnathan Paul Manziel ( ; born December 6, 1992) is an American football quarterback for the FCF Zappers of Fan Controlled Football (FCF). He played two seasons with the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL) and was also a member of the Canadian Football League's (CFL) Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Montreal Alouettes in 2018 and the Alliance of American Football's (AAF) Memphis Express in 2019. Manziel was nationally recruited out of high school as a dual-threat quarterback, and he debuted for the Texas A&M Aggies as a redshirt freshman in Kevin Sumlin's Air Raid offense during A&M's first season in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in 2012.
