The Basketball Federation of Kosovo (Albanian: ''Federata e Basketbollit e Kosovës'', sr, Кошаркашки савез Косова/''Košarkaški savez Kosova'') is the governing body of basketball in Kosovo. It organizes the Kosovo Basketball Superleague and the Kosovo Basketball Cup. It has also fielded a team which has represented Kosovo in international friendlies. History Kosovo Basketball Federation was founded in 1991. During the Yugoslavian era, Kosovo had own Superleague and lower divisions in both genders. In the 1990s, Kosovo declared political and sports independence from Yugoslavian system, organising its own league based with different teams from major cities of Kosovo. Fanny Blankers-Koen Games
The FBK Games is an annual track and field event at the Fanny Blankers-Koen Stadion in Hengelo, Netherlands as part of the IAAF World Challenge Meetings. It was first organized in 1981. Its name honours Fanny Blankers-Koen, who won four gold medals at the 1948 Summer Olympics, 1948 Olympic Games. It was known as the Adriaan Paulen Memorial from 1987 to 2000, in memory of another Dutch athlete. Kauno futbolo ir beisbolo klubas, commonly known as FBK Kaunas, was a Lithuanian football club from the city of Kaunas. History Banga Kaunas (1960–1993) Originally the team was founded in 1960 as Banga Kaunas and played its first three years in the Soviet First League. Afterwards the club decided to play in the Lithuanian SSR Championship and they did so until 1990. In that period they won two Lithuanian SSR Championship's. One in 1986 and another in 1989. When Lithuania regained independence in 1991 A Lyga was created and they played as Banga Kaunas until 1993 before the club changed its name. FBK Kaunas (1993–1999 and 2000–2012) The club changed its name in 1993 to Kauno futbolo beisbolo klubas. The club had in its first years not such a great success and FBK Kaunas had to wait until 1999 before they could lift a trophy again. Frillesås BK, ''FBK'', is a bandy club in Sweden. It is based in Frillesås in Kungsbacka Municipality but plays its homegames on Sjöaremossen bandy field in Varberg Municipality. The club was founded in 1960. The club colours are green, yellow and black. The club has played in Allsvenskan for many years but has been relegated to Division 1 for the 2010–11 season, from which they managed to get promoted again already for the upcoming season, were then relegated again for the 2014–15 season. Florida Blue Key is a student leadership honor society at the University of Florida which was founded in 1923. History Founding and early years "Florida Blue Key was founded on November 1, 1923, several days prior to the University's Homecoming celebration. At the suggestion of President Albert E. Murphree, Bert C. Riley, dean of general extension, brought together a group of student leaders to form an organization which would recognize leadership and promote service to the university. Among the duties assigned to Florida Blue Key were playing host to campus visitors and to be at the call of the president of the university for any duty designated by him. In this respect, Blue Key was given the task of planning and executing Homecoming activities that year and has continued to lead this activity ever since. Ladd Army Airfield is the military airfield located at Fort Wainwright in Fairbanks, Alaska. It was originally called Fairbanks Air Base, but was renamed Ladd Field on 1 December 1939, in honor of Major Arthur K. Ladd, a pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps who died in a plane crash near Dale, South Carolina on 13 December 1935. History Origins The U.S. government began its first serious infrastructure expenditures in Alaska during the 1930s. Most prominent was an increase in the military presence. Anti-Corruption Foundation
The Anti-Corruption Foundation (ACF or FBK; russian: Фонд борьбы с коррупцией (ФБК), Fond borby s korruptsiyey (FBK), Foundation for combating corruption) is a non-profit organization established in 2011 by Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny. The FBK published investigations into alleged corruption by high-ranking Russian government officials. The organisation was funded by private donations. On 9 October 2019, the FBK was declared a "foreign agent" by the Ministry of Justice. On 9 June 2021, the FBK was designated as an extremist organization and liquidated by the Moscow City Court.
