FA Women's National League
The FA Women's National League, formerly WFA National League and FA Women's Premier League (WPL), is a group of six football divisions run by the English Football Association. Founded in 1991 by the Women's Football Association, the League included England's top division from 1991 to 2010. The League now sits at step 3 and 4 of the women's football pyramid (below the FA Women's Super League and the Women's Championship). The League's Premier Division/National Division contained England's top women's clubs from 1991–92 until the season 2009–10. During this time, Arsenal Ladies won 12 League titles. Below the National Division was a Northern Division and Southern Division, whose teams could win promotion. The WPL National Division became the country's level 2 division from 2010–11 to 2012–13 and ended in 2013, replaced at level 2 by FA WSL 2, later renamed the Championship. Doncaster Rovers Belles Ladies Football Club, previously Doncaster Belles, is an English women's football club that currently plays in the , the fourth tier of women's football in England. FA Women's Community Shield
The Women's FA Community Shield is an association football match in England. It is a national super cup, and the equivalent of the FA Community Shield in male football. It is the first competitive match of the football season. The match is competed between the champions of the FA Women's Super League and the winners of the Women's FA Cup. If the Super League champions also win the FA Cup, the Cup runners-up play the match. The first community shield match was played in 2000 and lasted until 2008. The competition was then revived in 2020. ''The Independent'' is a British online newspaper. It was established in 1986 as a national morning printed paper. Nicknamed the ''Indy'', it began as a broadsheet and changed to tabloid format in 2003. The last printed edition was published on Saturday 26 March 2016, leaving only the online edition. 1994–95 FA Women's Premier League
The 1994–95 season of the FA Women's Premier League was the fourth season of national top-flight league women's football in England. It was the first season under FA Premier League branding after the WFA Women's National League was founded in 1991–92. Below the FA Women's Premier League National Division were the Northern and Southern Divisions. The 1993–94 double-winners Doncaster Belles and League Cup winners Arsenal Ladies continued their rivalry in the National Division. Arsenal won their "fiercely contested" early-season match 3–0 with goals by Sammy Britton, Rebecca Lonergan and Jo Churchman. At the end of 1994–95, Arsenal won their second title and equalled Doncaster's two championships at that point. The 1993–94 season of the WFA National League Premier Division was the third season of national top-flight league women's football in England. The competition was organised by the Women's Football Alliance and the Football Association Committee for Women's Football. Below the Premier Division were the Northern and Southern Divisions. The 1993–94 women's championship was won by Doncaster Belles, their second National League trophy, after a title race with the previous champions, Arsenal. This season coincided with the merger of the league's founding body, the Women's Football Association, into the FA in 1993. (The WFA had founded the National League in 1991.)
