Félix Díaz (born 28 December 1959) is an Argentine activist on behalf of the civil rights of the Qom people in Argentina. Wichí
The Wichí are an indigenous people of South America. They are a large group of tribes ranging about the headwaters of the Bermejo River and the Pilcomayo River, in Argentina and Bolivia. Notes on designation This ethnic group was named by the English settlers and is still widely known as Mataco. The etymology of the term is obscure but in several sources, it is cited that the Wichí find the term derogatory. Among the group exists a folk etymology for this term, which relates it to the Spanish verb ''matar'', to kill. Thus their preferred name, their own word for themselves, is Wichí, pronounced , and their language, ''Wichí Lhamtés'' . There is a pronunciation variant in some areas of Bolivia, , where the self-denomination of the group is Weenhayek wichi, translated by Alvarsson (1988) as "''the different people''" (pl. Intratables is an Argentine TV program. It is aired at América TV channel since 2013. Premise The program started as an Archive television program, focused on the Argentine show business. It was hosted by Santiago del Moro, who was already working in '' Infama''. As a summer season program, it had a light approach to all topics at that point. They sought a personal style to endure the upcoming start of the 2013 season of '' Showmatch'', and focused instead in politics. It became a talk show, using archived footage only to introduce the topics of discussion. Del Moro, however, rejected the usual format of political TV programs, and kept a style similar to video clips: each person in the studios talk for a limited time and someone else talks then, and topics are halted abruptly to introduce new ones. Gustavo Edgardo Cordera (born September 15, 1961 in Avellaneda, Buenos Aires) is an Argentine rock musician, best known as the ex frontman of the band Bersuit Vergarabat. Biography Cordera's musical career began in 1988, when he was studying communications at the Universidad Nacional de Lomas de Zamora and running his own auto dealership, Cordera Bros. Adolfo Pérez Esquivel (born 26 November 1931) is an Argentine activist, community organizer, painter, writer and sculptor. He was the recipient of the 1980 Nobel Peace Prize for his opposition to Argentina's last civil-military dictatorship (1976–1983), during which he was detained, tortured, and held without trial for 14 months. A Molotov cocktail (among several other names – ''see other names'') is a hand thrown incendiary weapon constructed from a frangible container filled with flammable substances equipped with a fuse (typically a glass bottle filled with flammable liquids sealed with a cloth wick). Qopiwini Lafwetes (Qo.wi.pi.ni. respecting the original spelling) is a group that includes aboriginal cultural settlements in the Province of Formosa in Argentina. It encompasses peoples from the Qom, Pilagá, Wichi and Nivaclé ethnic groups of Argentina. It was formed at the beginning of 2015. In February 2015, they set up a protest camp at the intersection of Avenues 9 of Julio and Avenue of May to draw attention to the repressive actions against the aborigines by the government of Formosa, and to collect citizens' signatures supporting their cause. Included in the camp were some forty representatives of the forty-six communities of the Qom, Pilagá, Wichi and Nivaclé villages.
