Full Circle (Drowning Pool Album)
''Full Circle'' is the third studio album by American rock band Drowning Pool, released on August 7, 2007, by Eleven Seven. It is their first of two studio releases with Ryan McCombs, then former singer of SOiL, who joined the band after the departure of Jason 'Gong' Jones in 2005. The first single off the album, "Soldiers", is dedicated to the United States Army. The album debuted at number 64 on the United States ''Billboard'' 200, selling about 10,000 copies in its first week. As of September 12, 2007, the album has sold around 29,000 copies in the United States. Four singles were released to promote the album. The final single "Shame" was released June 29, 2009 almost two years after the album's release. The album was moderately commercially successful, and received great amounts of positiveity by fans. Drowning Pool
Drowning Pool is an American Rock music, rock band formed in Dallas, Texas, in 1996. The band was named after the 1975 film ''The Drowning Pool (film), The Drowning Pool''. Since its formation, the band has consisted of guitarist C.J. Pierce, bassist Stevie Benton, and drummer Mike Luce, as well as a revolving cast of vocalists, the latest being Jasen Moreno. After the release of their debut album, ''Sinner (Drowning Pool album), Sinner'' (2001), original vocalist Dave Williams (singer), Dave Williams was found dead on August 14, 2002 from heart disease. Jason Jones (singer), Jason Jones, who replaced Williams in 2003, recorded one album, ''Desensitized (Drowning Pool album), Desensitized'' (2004), but left in 2005 due to musical differences. Ryan McCombs
Ryan McCombs (born July 16, 1974) is an American singer. From 1997 to 2004, he was the lead singer of rock band Soil. McCombs has also served as the vocalist for rock band Drowning Pool from 2005 until his departure in 2011. The same year, McCombs reunited with Soil. Career Soil (1997–2004) McCombs was discovered by Soil through a compilation CD of unsigned bands. He joined the band as lead vocalist in mid-1997. Soil released three albums (''Throttle Junkies'', ''Scars'' and '' Redefine)'' and two EPs ( ''Soil'' and ''El Chupacabra'') during his time in the group. With heavy anthems like "Halo" and "Unreal", the band gained commercial recognition and international status with their second album, ''Scars'', in 2001. Steve Stevens (born Steven Bruce Schneider; May 5, 1959) is an American guitarist. He is best known as Billy Idol's guitarist and songwriting collaborator, and for his lead guitar work on the theme to ''Top Gun'' – "Top Gun Anthem" – for which he won a Grammy Awards, Grammy in 1987: Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance, Best Pop Instrumental Performance. "Rebel Yell" is a song by English-American rock musician Billy Idol. It is the title track of his 1983 album of the same name, and was released as the album's lead single on 24 October 1983. William Michael Albert Broad (born 30 November 1955), known professionally as Billy Idol, is a British-American singer, songwriter, and musician.
