The is an electric multiple unit operated by Fukuoka City Transportation Bureau on the Nanakuma Line in Fukuoka, Japan. Design The exterior was designed by the German industrial designer Alexander Neumeister. Each side of the cars is equipped with three pairs of doors. The bodyside is white with a small light-green line which runs from the front along the top of the windows. This represents the ridge of Mount Abura (located in Jōnan-ku, Sawara-ku and Minami-ku, Fukuoka). Muromi River (located in Nishi-ku and Sawara-ku, Fukuoka) is represented by a light blue stripe along the bottom of the train. There is an emergency door at each end of the train. Mount Abura
is a mountain located on the border of Minami-ku, Fukuoka, Sawara-ku, Fukuoka and Jonan-ku, Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan. Mount Abura is the location where the Indian Buddhist priest Seiga produced the first camellia oil from seeds made in Japan during the Nara period. Abura means oil in Japanese. The Aburayama Incident occurred on August 10, 1945 in a wooden area near the municipal crematory when the Imperial Japanese Army executed and beheaded a total of eight US Army prisoners who were crew members of a Boeing B-29 aircraft. After the World War II, Genzō Abe, the 24th mayor of Fukuoka, built a memorial at the site. Nishi-ku, Fukuoka
is one of the seven wards of Fukuoka City, Japan. Meaning literally "west ward," it is bordered to the east by Sawara-ku, and to the west by Itoshima. As of 2003, it has a population of 173,813 people and an area of 83.81 km2. As of 2016, its population had increased to 206,000 people.
