Fuertes de Fortín Fútbol Club was a football club that played in the Liga TDP. It was based in the town of Fortín de las Flores, Mexico. History The team was founded in August 2019 to return professional football to the town after more than 20 years without having a representative club of the town. For regulatory reasons, during the first season the club competed under the name Club Santos Córdoba, a franchise whose registration was used for the birth of the Fuertes. In 2020 the club got its own registration in the Mexican Football Federation, so it was officially able to compete under the real name of the team. The club finished in second place in their group and therefore entered the promotion phase. Fortín De Las Flores
Fortín de las Flores is a city in the Mexican state of Veracruz. Fortín de las Flores is the municipal seat of Fortín municipality, which borders the municipalities of Córdoba, Naranjal and Ixtaczoquitlán. It stands on Federal Highways 190 and 180 and the Mexico City to Veracruz railway. The Serie A has 33 teams (1 Liga MX Reserve Team, 3 Liga de Expansión MX Reserve Teams and 29 Serie A Teams) divided into two groups. Orizaba () is a city and municipality in the Mexican state of Veracruz. It is located 20 km west of its sister city Córdoba, and is adjacent to Río Blanco and Ixtaczoquitlán, on Federal Highways 180 and 190.
